weekend = fishing, babyshower, fair

so friday my mom took me to this place called point no point in hansville, which by the way is probably the most beautiful beach in washington that i’ve seen so far other than ocean shores. Any who, supposedly its one of the most famous spots for salmon fishing! so we packed up the cooler with food, got our polies, pixies, and swivels and headed out! Unfortunately here you have to pinch down the barbs on the pixie hooks because if you are caught fishing with them, you get an 80 dollar fine! geesh 😛 so we did that and then found a spot on the beach.

We made sure to get there just at high tide, which is the best time, but it made me wish I had waders. The water was sloshing over the tops of my boots 😛 Either way I fished there for about 2 hours with probably 6 other people fishing nearby and nobody,  NOBODY got a single bite.  well…okay i take it back. I got 3 bites. I got so excited and so did all of the other people fishing, watching intently to see what i caught! But as i reeled in one bullhead after another they paid no attention to me. lol

So I did not catch anything, but It was a fun day! My mom took me to dinner at the casino and then she told me about a fishing hole in port orchard where i could fish and even keep the wild salmon if i caught them! I couldnt believe it, but she told me that someone who knows the fishing regulations told her it was true! She said she’d show me when she could. Hopefully soon because the fishing season is pretty much at an end for salmon 😛

Got home, showered, got ready, and headed out to the silverdale bistro with jen, courtney, and her friend heather for drinks! I had not gone out really since I came back from alaska so I was ready to have some fun ^_^ Since I was driving I made sure to have only one drink at the beginning of the night  and since it was going to be a long night,  a long Island Ice tea seemed like the right choice. This was my first time meeting heather. A beautiful exotic girl who looked a little bit like Selma Hayek and Emmanuelle Chriqui.  We ended up hitting it off real well! She was so funny and we had a lot more in common than I thought haha. I hope I get to see more of her!

that night 3 different guys ended up sittin at our table, one named Ethan, one named Eddie, and one named Abe! I think out of all of them Abe was definitely the coolest. An elementary school teacher who was very down to earth and very pleasant company! Eddie and Ethan were cool, but it was obvious their only motive was to hopefully take one of us home with them….ew. lol otherwise nice guys, just too obvious. We danced, we joked, we laughed.  A great ending to a great day!

Saturday 

woke up really late….Jen stayed at my house because she was so drunk lol. On ouri way back from the club we were so hungry and spent an hour trying to find a food place that was open at 2:30 in the morning lol. Finally we gave up, got to my place, and made nachos while watching…wow what did we watch? I was so tired I dont even remember lol. I don’t know how she did it but jen was up by 7am and gone because it was her mothers birthday! As for me, I slept in till almost one. Ugh i was exhausted, but i knew i hand to get up because we were heading out for mallorts baby shower by 2:30! I can’t believe shes due on october 11nth! I mean wow. It seems like just yesterday she announced to us at 10 weeks that she was pregnant! Lucky girl only gained weight around her middle! she will have her figure back in no time ^_^ She and Kris finally decided on the name caden for their little boy ^_^ I think its a great name. They still have to find a middle name for him though. I suggested caden alexander, but I dont think that passed with them haha.

The baby shower was fun! we all guessed how big around her stomach  was by cutting the size ribbon we thought would fit around it! All of us were off 😛 my gift to mal and kris were some onsies! they got a lot of onesies but im sure babies go through about maybe 4 a day? or something like that ….my dad told me i pooped so bad i filled the booties one time. ew… i hope my future babies don’t do that.

after the shower we headed back to my place and I just decided to relax and not go out since i was getting up early the next day to go to the fair. I needed to save up my energy! I thought id go to bed early but when julie came over around 2ish , since she was going to the fair with me, we ended up talking like for 3 hours lol. so we barely got any sleep. 

Sunday TODAY! we went to the Puyallup Fair! My mom wanted to go and so she treated me, julie, my cousin kyran and one of his friends with admissions and tickets! I love my mom ^_^ I don’t like the scary rides and julie wouldn’t go on the scary rides by herself, so i felt bad. we still had fun though! we went on the matterhorn, the EXTREME SWINGS and i mean i call these things extreme because they weren’t ordinary swings. these swings were faster, higher, and more wobbly than the normal ones! Which actually gave us a little bit of a thrill! well me at least… lol. We then went on the hang gliders and ferris wheel. After walking around, looking at all the little shops,a nd stopping to eat, we didn’t have time to go on any more rides so I gave the eight tickets I had left to a lady with three little kids. She seemed happy 🙂

Got home, did some laundry, went and rented the movie 21 which was awesome! and now julie and I are going to bed. She’s going to be staying here for just a couple days ^_^ and that was my lovely weekend! payce
