same day new entry

so there was no way I was going to the gym today. I "tried" to take a nap but ended up just lying there feeling like shit and resting my eyeballs. finally megan texted me and i gave up on the failed nap lol  I told her i’d go take a shower and then I was heading to Borders to get Stephenie Meyers fourth book and then I’d text her when I was on my way to pick her up.

I mean I was headed to borders anyway which is half way to her house and I was planning on going back to her house later to spend the night since I have a hair cut apointment in tacoma at 11am.  After picking her up we got stuck in bumper to bumper traffic for over an hour. Turns out a 54 year old woman fell asleep behind the wheel coming from tacoma and her car ended up flying off the freeway and flipping over onto the side going towards tacoma. the freeway was shut down for 2 hours. I prayed for the woman and whatever family she left behind…, I felt so bad as we passed the car that was flipped upside down at what seemed such an impossible distance.

okay im not going to talk about that anymore its depressing.
*sigh*

After getting to my house i cooked dinner for my dad, cousin, his friend and myself and then jen and ali came over because we were headed over to visit mallory! It’s been a while since I saw her. She was 10 weeks pregnant at that time and i knew she’d be showing now! I couldn’t wait to see the ultra sound pictures! Seeing Mallory was lovely. It is so nice to all be together talking and laughing and reminiscing. We got to see her and chris’s new house too! It is adorable ^_^ they are such a cute couple and I know they will be the perfect parents! Mallory says the doctor thinks she is having a boy, but they are not 100 % certain yet. There was something in the ultra sound that looked like it "might" be a penis but who knows? lol

Jen drove my car for the first time on the way home! I asked if she would because I was wearing heels and my feet needed a small break. She didnt mind and actually had fun driving it haha. It is such a different kind of car to drive. The feel of it is weird. I can remember how alien it seemed to me the first time I drove it after a long time of driving the volvo which leapt forward with the slightest feather touch of the gas. with my mercedez you need to floor it when getting onto the freeway  lol. we listened to my relaxing cd which has landon pigg, regina spector, switchfoot, cyndi lauper (her version of unchained melody which is AMAZING) and many more. love it.

we said goodnight and headed out sometime around 10:30 and when I got home I packed up my stuff, said goodnight to jen and ali, and headed to megans. Fun relaxing night ^_^ im so greatful to have such good friends. Right now megan is playin with chico lol hes running around and around and around really fast lol such a cute chihuahua. Alrighty well time for bed!
