Stop whining!

The Senior Accountant left yesterday. Her last day was supposed to be tomorrow. We’re not done with month end close yet, so yep we’re screwed! Haha, oh well. Oh well a job’s a job, I never look forward to going to work

But now I’ll sure be busy so let me do a quick entry and drop a couple notes around here…

If I had to describe my political views, it would be fiscally conservative and socially liberal. Although I never vote, and don’t get me ranting on why, but if I did I’d never do an all red or all blue ballot. That being said, as much as I would like equal rights and fair treatment for everyone, some people just take it too far. Exploiting the ‘victim’ card for any special treatment

A teaser for the news last night revolved around the headline "A teacher banned speaking Spanish in the classroom". Is that worthy of a civil rights protest or something? I mean they made it sound dramatic. If it’s not Spanish class, it’s not a necessity to speak Spanish. And from my experience in school, you’re supposed to sit there and listen rather than talk with friends anyways

Plus there are rules about profane language and bullying other people. If that teacher doesn’t speak Spanish, how does the teacher know the students aren’t cursing, picking on another classmate, or spreading bad rumors about others? Should all teachers learn every language to prevent this? Or could it simply be one teacher’s rule in his/her one classroom about only speaking English?

I read an article yesterday that two security guards at Reliant Stadium (home of the Houston Texans) were fired for taking a picture with Tom Brady over the weekend. They’re not supposed to talk to the athletes, much less ask for an autograph or photo. The ex-guard even said so in his interview and admitted he was still on the clock. But he "was on (his) way to clock out". So? If the rule was clearly stated not to do it and you did it, I can’t sympathize with you

He later claimed they weren’t the only two guards to ever break that rule, so it’s not fair to them. My opinion is fair, if they get fired for it later I wouldn’t sympathize with them either, haha. It’s like speeding on the highway, most people do it but you only get in trouble for it when you get caught

moral of the story: To err is human; to forgive, divine. But the forgiveness is tasked to a human, who is known to ‘err’. So tough luck! ðŸ˜›

Have a Nice Day!
