Me-Time

I <3 weekends.

Went to see Harry Potter yesterday with T and V, then grabbed some fancy pizza at Pi. The movie was fine; I’ve never been a hardcore fan of the films (don’t even think I’ve seen all of them, come to think of it), but I’ve read the books, and saw the last one so I thought might as well. We wound up seeing it in 3D, which was completely pointless (I want my extra 2 bucks back!!)

Today was a much needed day of lounging..mixed in with some much needed cooking and cleaning. Not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow (but thrilled I didn’t have to come in tonight!!). I’m scheduled to give lab meeting in 2 weeks, and I haven’t got a whole lot to show for myself just yet. I’m also not nearly as familiar with the background literature as I should be, but I guess 2 weeks is a decent amount of time to get on top of that.

I also need to start thinking long and hard on which lab I want to ultimately do my thesis in.
