Today is my older son’s 21st birthday. Happy Birthday Andy! Unfortunely, he has finals this week at school. I know all to well what I was doing 21 years ago today. I never thought my life could change so much for the better. He is a great kid who is smart and funny and I love to be around him. He is going to college (in all places…Fargo) to be a Pharmacist. He has just applied so let’s cross our fingers he gets in! Say a few prayers for us. Yes when you go to school to be any type of Dr. you have to apply to get in. He also has to do a personal interview as to why he wants to be a pharmacist. You also have to take a PCAT test like the MCAT test to get into medical school. You have to get a good score on this test in order to even qualify for the Pharmacy program. So it is very hard to get into this school. But I know he can do it. He has shown it the last couple of years.

He called me today and said hey mom guess where I am going. I thought tavern of all places but said I give up where? He said to the liquir store. I said what are you going to buy? He said, I don’t know, I will have to look around and see what there is.

So on this eve of my son’s 21 st birthday I want to wish him the best. I am so very proud of him and what he has accomplished and tell him that all the time. I could not have asked for a better son. I love him to peices.
