Update

I think it’s time for an update even though not much is going on.  Still working about 12 hours a week.  Getting ready for our son’s graduation in June.  Our older son is back in school after almost a month off for spring break due to the flooding problems in Fargo.  Talked to him last weekend and he said it may flood again this coming weekend.  At least it is warming up and the snow has finally melted.  That poor neck of the woods had a very long drawn out winter.  With lots of snow this spring that didn’t help with the flooding. 

The weather here has warmed up a bit and they are saying it should hit 80’s on Thursday & Friday.  I am looking forward to that.  Of course it is really dry here and we really do need the rain. I don’t even care if it rains all weekend since it will be nice on Thursday and Friday.  We are busy all weekend anyway so the rain can come in full force.  

I hope everyone had a nice Easter.  We just went to my sister’s for a grill out.  Kind of last minute thing.  I really didn’t want to do anything since my son didn’t come home from college but my sister insisted.  So we went and really had a nice time.

Older son should be home in about a month or so from college.  That kid is going to drive me nuts if he stays as messy as he was during spring break.  I asked if he drived his roommates batty with his sloppy ways and he said he is not like that there.  I told him his room has to stay clean and stuff needs to get done or he can stay in Fargo.  Well i know he wants to come back here for the summer because his girlfriend lives here.  Not looking forward to it for the most part.  But oh well there will be a time when I am begging him to come home. 

Our younger son is going to graduate and then go the Tech school for Criminal Law or to be a cop.  I am hoping he can get in more than part time.  Not sure how our insurance works on that part so he needs to work and go to school if it is just part time.  He may work with our older son this summer at Menards in the shipping department.  Older son hated it there last year but that is about the only place he can make some decent money.  He is moving into a different house and th rent is higher and he is only moving in with 4 guys instead of 6 so everything else goes up too.  Daddy is not going to keep flipping the bill every month.  Well I shouldn’t say that because I know he will he is such a sucker for his kids. 

I keep reminding the younger son he needs to move out too.  But he is just so immature.  They don’t have student housing at the Tech school and I don’t think anyone would want to live with him he is so sloppy and gross and doesn’t care about anything.  How can I get this kid to grow up?  I would think these kids would want to move out on their own and start a good life.  Maybe when he goes to school and hopefully meets new friends.  He is such a loner and loves to be by himself.  Then again maybe not.

Well that is about all that is happening in my world.  Nothing new and exciting to talk about.  I am hoping spring has sprung and is here to stay.  Cold today with only 49 for a high.  And very windy so it doesn’t feel that warm.
