Crap
It’s always something isn’t it? I made it thru the layoffs at work. But now they tell me we don’t know if we will need you some weeks. Well I am going to go and try and collect unemployment if that is the case. What they will do is give me like 6 or 8 hours a week so I can’t collect it. Nice! I knew I should have never gone back to that place. They treat us like @#$%!
So then hubby calls and asks why our older son’s tuition is $1500 more than it usually is? I don’t know I don’t take care of that, it’s your department. So he calls up the school and finds out that online classes are not included in your tuition they are seperate!
So then he calls and asks if he can drop one of the classes and take it next semester . Not sure why our son wanted to take an online class versus actually going to the class. So anyway he finds out once 9% of the class is done you can drop it but you don’tget your money back. Well guess what, 9% was Jan. 22 so that was effective last week. Nice how they send you a bill after 9% of the class is done so they can keep your money!
We were planning on taking our kids to Mexico over spring break but now I think we will just go somewhere else or not go at all. I am paying for the whole trip, but with my hours cut at work and not knowing about this damn economy I feel like I should just save my money for something that always comes up! Our younger son graduates this year and then will start school in the fall. That’s an added exspense! Hopefully he can get in full time, not sure because everything at the Tech College has a waiting list! I better find out soon so we can apply somewhere else.
And he is the type of kid who doesn’t do anything on his own, unlike his brother who applied to all different colleges and took it upon himself. They are two totally different kids and if I would have had them by two totally different father’s it would make sense, but since they are from the same father and mother who knows!
It’s been cold here, but no snow for a while. It’s suppose to warm up tomorrow and Thursday and guess what? Looks like snow? Imagine that.
Well I guess I can’t find anything else to complain about so I will let you all go.
Good day!
ME
Our economy stinks right now. I hope they work with you better on your job.

that’s odd I didn’t know that about online classes.

Can’t you collect patial unemployment because of your low hours. I know here in Michigan you can because one of my co-worker’s wives is doing it. And ryn: yes, it was because of traffic because we got a little bit of snow last night. Geez, this IS Michigan, you’d think we’d be used to it by now and have learned how to drive in it, right?

Boy, mom, quite a lot to do deal with as the kids grow up. The President does talk about folks in your straits often. Hope you work it all out, and the boys get edgimicated. RYN – on kettle corn, for which many thanks. I did google it and got a recipe and jist made a batch using brown sugar. Not bad. Eating it now as I write and it is pretty good. Didn’t burn any of it, but disappointed inthat it doesn’t look like caramel corm which I adore. Mostly still white but some have some bits of color. It all tasted just slightly sweet. Will do it again like you do trying to get it just right. May get some granulated brown sugar cuz regular is kinda lumpy and need stirring breaking the lumps. Mine started to pop while stirring but caught it in time.
