The school weeks feel like they are flying by. I am afraid I am getting behind with the kids. How can it almost be Thanksgiving?? At the same time, I am ready for summer break. 

We are back in our house. It smells MUCH better. It’s not perfect, but I am hoping(and we’ve been told) in time the rest of the odor will fade. We are not going to sign the release for 90 days. If the smell is not completely gone after 90 days, then we will do further work on the house at the expense of the guy who sold us/flipped the house (also the guy who paid for the work we just had done). I’ve been finding mouse poop around the house! Ugh. My best guess is that a mice got in through the huge hole that used to be our kitchen floor, or that the workers left the doors opened while they worked. Definitely not happy about this, but what can we do? Gross. Gross. Gross.

Oh my gosh!! You guys will never believe what one of my students parents gave me yesterday!! She gave me two bags FULL of Juicy Couture clothes, a Prada purse, and a never been used Coach purse!!! They were her hand me downs, but they seriously look like they have never been used!! She is always dressed really nice. A few weeks ago I complimented her outfit and she told me she worked for Juicy Couture. She then told me she shops ALL of the time and is always getting rid of stuff. She asked me if I wanted her "extra" stuff. I thought she was just making small talk, but then she actually brought me the stuff yesterday! I seriously almost slept with the purses!! Haha!

If anyone sees the new George Clooney movie, a girl I went to highschool with(Adrienne) has a line in it! She plays George Clooney’s sister’s Maid of Honor. I’m a celebrity by association.  The movie was filmed in STL.
