Married

Will and I are officially married! It has been a crazy past few days as we made the trip from St. Louis to California. Our car was all decorated with newlywed stuff (complements of our bridal party), and so we got lots of honks and waves throughout the LONG drive.

We got to spend one night in Las Vegas. A member of Will’s congregation got us a room for a night. We ate dinner at the Bellagio and did a little bit of gambling. We won $100!

We got to our apartment today. It’s hard to get settled in because our stuff is being shipped and won’t be here for 8-14 days. Right now we have a computer and an air mattress. Awesome. Will is already back at work which leaves me feeling a little lonely and homesick. I need a job asap.

Will and I were able to confide in a congregation member about my eating disorder. He is going to help us find a therapist. I am excited and hopeful. My bulimia is out of control, but Will is more than wonderful about helping/supporting me.

It is so strange to be living in the same place as Will. We are sitting around in our pajamas–me on facebook, him attempting to assemble some lamps we bought, and we are just living married life. It’s so fun! 🙂

I can’t wait to see the wedding pictures! I am glad that you are going to see a therapist about your ED. I would never want you to end up like me. I completely ruined my teeth and my esophagus and it just causes one problem after another. It’s definitely a long, hard, road but I believe that you can do it sweetie. And thank God for a supportive husband. So glad you are enjoying married life!!!
