So, it’s official. I am going to have a new last name!!

Up to this point I had received roses with the words I WILL NOT TAKE.  When I got to Will’s place today he was waiting outside for me. He told me that we were going to walk to the restaurant where he had made reservations because it was just a little ways away. He started walking me down a beautiful path on the Seminary campus, and stopped when we got to a rose on the ground that said MY. After that we walked a little bit more and came to another rose that said LOVE. I was figuring out that the engagement was in the process of happening when he started singing the song to me as we were walking, and then we came to the last rose which said AWAY.  I was shaking uncontrollably because I was just so overwhelmed–this boy I love so much was standing in front of me singing to me! We walked a little bit more and came to a spot in the grass where he had spelled MARRY ME? in rose petals. I of course said YES!!!  I was overwhelmed by the whole thing, byt thankfully his friend was there to take pictures of us, so I will be able to think about things/remember it later!

After the proposal we went out to dinner at P.F Changs. They gave us our meal on the house when we (okay, by we, I mean me and my wanting to tell the whole world self) told them we had just gotten engaged.

His friends were all waiting for us at a party they had planned for us. We had champagne and cake, and it was just all around awesome.

I had to leave early (major suck) because my little sister was watching the kids I am babysitting, but it was still a perfect proposal.

I AM GETTING MARRIED!! Oh, and since I suck at posting pics I’ll descibe the ring! Solitaire, Princess cut,white gold,  beautiful!
