What a day

Writing on my phone again. Can’t get the HTML tags to work for paragraph breaks. This will be short.

The wedding is in 15 hours, and I’m currently lounging in the back yard, soaking in the stars and the clouds and the rave music from two houses over, and mostly the lovehappy girlnoise coming from inside my house as my future wife laughs and jokes and storytells with her sisters and mom. If I look I can see them through the window, all warmth and wine and smiles.

The setup was a bear, but it doesn’t matter.

This does: I’m righting my mistakes, one by one. I have a beautiful, kind, loving wife, and a spastic 8 year old pixie of a daughter – a readymade family of sorts. I can finally look in the mirror and see me again. It’s been a while.
