Little Victories

I clicked my "Bookmarked By" button.  Shouldn’t have done that…. 4.  2 of which have been inactive for over a year.  I guess that’s what happens when you stop writing except once a month or so.

So, little victories.  Things that I can (have to) cling to in order to maintain my sanity this school year, teaching 5 preps, heading up a Technology grant/workshop/team, having my classroom used during my only free period, and generally being pulled in a million directions at once.

1.  My attendance binder is rad.  And organized.  It’s a little slice of sanity in an otherwise chaotic room.

2.  I was under-prepared today, and it showed.  I am over-prepared for tomorrow, and hopefully it will show.

3.  I’ve ran 8 miles so far this week, biked 20, and will add another 3 on Saturday to my run total when I finish the Warrior Dash (look it up – warriordash.com).

4.  My weight this morning after my run was 195.  Started being intentional about changing my habits just over two months ago at 215.  10 more to go until I hit my goal.

5.  I can teach the other teachers at my school something for once.  Google docs – our entire district is moving our online storage to that, and I have to say that teachers make the WORST students.  But it certainly feels good when they come up the next day and thank me for taking an hour after school to help them out.

That’s all for now.

Random…. Teaches most definitely make the worst students! We talk constantly and don’t listen well either. 🙂
