fallen women

i haven’t got anything very exciting to report, really. unless you’d like me to quote some more of the weber i’m reading… “then designation of a successor by an administrative staff becomes ‘preselection,’ by the predecessor himself ‘nomination,’ whereas recognition by the..” no? okay.

i didn’t go out last night. i can’t remember the last time i stayed in at the weekend! obviously my bodyclock couldn’t understand why i stayed in either, as it kept me awake until 3:30 a.m. weird. claire had a friend over to stay and they went out for about two hours, came back very pissed, and must’ve put a lot of coke up their noses because they were jabbering away for a very long time in jack’s room, being nostaligic about uppingham, (the boarding school they went to – essentially a school for fallen women, claire got packed off there from her home in malta because she was doing too many drugs).

i was clever, i hid away in my room watching bad telly.

jack came in at sporadic intervals with genuine rage shouting that he couldn’t take anymore of their bad anecdotes, and then moaned alot about how he doesn’t like girls from public school, too many eating disorders or something. heh heh. then i went to sleep and a little while later my boyfriend rang me up telling me about his night, which was a damn sight more interesting than mine. grrr.

oh yeah, i’ve given my illness (now pretty much completely recovered from, save a pleghmy throat) to claire and jack. they tell me not to feel guilty, but i know they’ll by tearing me to pieces behind closed doors!

i’m going to watch being john malkovich on channel 4 at ten tonight. everybody watch it! it’s fab.
