Body

Unfortunately, I drag my body with me
everywhere I go.
And it’s followed me forever,
even though I’ve told it “no.”
I’ve tried to leave it far behind,
but I just keep going wrong.
Someday, I will cut these ties.
Someday, I will be strong.
Until then, though, I guess
this body comes along.
