Update

It’s been forever since I’ve written in here!

The biggest news is that I’m pregnant! I just found out a couple weeks ago, and I’m due on January 12th (I’m hoping the baby doesn’t decide to come a couple weeks early and be a Christmas baby!). Ironically, after I finally gave up on the possibility of getting pregnant without fertility drugs, and we decided to wait to have a baby, that’s when I got pregnant, because that’s just how my life works.

And by the way, just to stop the comments of "see, when you just relax, it happens," I started ovulating because I was exercising more. I’ve been charting my cycles for a long time, so I really was not ovulating for the last year at all, and only just started in the last month, and I was very lucky and got pregnant the first time I ovulated. So it really was nothing about relaxing–it was exercising!

It’s actually not the greatest timing, but I’m still absolutely thrilled about it, and I know we’ll make it work. Hubby seems to have a good chance at getting a job in Vermont (he should find out in 2 or 3 weeks), and if he got that one, we would be moving out there when I’m about 6 months pregnant. It will be a lot of work to figure out doctors and insurance and everything, but I’m sure we could handle it. The only thing that sucks about that is that I really want to stay near my family right now, and I love my doctor and my pregnancy nurse, and I’ve checked out the place where I’m giving birth, and I love that, too.

Oh well. At least I’m having a baby, and that’s really all that matters!

I also start a new job next monday as a receptionist for a neurology clinic. I’m not planning to tell them about the pregnancy for a couple months (I want them to know and like me before I drop that bomb on them), so hopefully I won’t start showing right away!

Anyway, I need to start writing in here more! I miss it, but I just never get around to it anymore!
