I quit!

I’m done with my job! Or actually, I have to work there until next tuesday, but then I’m done! I’m hoping having an end date set will make the next few days a little more tolerable.

I actually felt kind of bad when I talked to my boss. This is not the boss I hate–the one I hate is actually just my team lead. The one I had to talk to in order to quit was my actual boss, who is very nice. He seemed kind of sad, and said they would be sorry to see me leave because I’ve been doing really well.

He’s only been the supervisor for a little while, so I’m apparently the first person he’s ever had quit on him. So he didn’t know what all I had to do, and said "You’re my first. I guess I won’t forget you." I seriously felt really bad. I’ve only felt guilty quitting one job before, and that was because the boss cried (my friend and I were his favorite workers, and we both quit in the same week).

But aside from the brief moment of guilt, I’m so happy!!

I’m having some issues with a doctor, but I’m still too annoyed to write about it without just whining, so I’ll save that for later.

YAY FOR QUITING THAT DREADFUL JOB! 🙂 That’s wonderful! I only had to quit one job before and the manager wasn’t as sad as I thought he should’ve been. He just said he hated to see me go, yet didn’t offer anything for me to stay.. pffffttt. whatever lol anyways, i hope nothings too bad with the doctor! <3

Good for you! You can’t feel bad; if it meant that much to them to have you around you’d still be there because things would’ve been different. Maybe you want to give him the courtesy of an exit interview to explain why you’re leaving so he can try and turn things around. 🙂
