shopping trip *
i am almost completely done shopping for the baby/hospital bag. tonight i picked up this diaper bag:

it was $40 at Babies R Us. they didn’t have a lot i reallllly liked and some of the ones i did were pricey. holy crap. $120 for a diaper bag? really?? wtf is it made of? gold flakes?
*oops. the bag was $30.
and don’t get me started on the price of strollers. WOW.
i think i have my toiletries all bought (i can’t figure out what happened to the little deodorant i bought last time i was shopping though. that’s a little aggravating. i hope i don’t have to buy another one) or taken (haha-little hotel shampoos/conditions/lotions/body washes.) i don’t know if the pads i bought will work but i had NO IDEA which ones to get. good thing they give you some at the hospital. might need to pack some undies i don’t care about bc last time, they gave ONE of those mesh undies and who knows? maybe now they give none.
the baby has everything possibly needed…i think. haha. i even found a baby book tonight with CANADIAN spelling!! i have had NO luck finding those in the past. i had to buy a British one for Sawyer last time and i bought a cute little journal one for Beau. we have to get the swing from a friend (the same girl i bought the tops from the other day) when she’s done with it. i have clothes, soothers, a nice soft blankie (yeah, i know we have lots but every baby should get a special one….), a rocking vibrating seat, a playpen, car seat, mei tai…nursing bras are on the way…we’ll buy disposable diapers when we see what size this baby is (Beau skipped right over NB diapers into size 1) and we have cloth dipes (i bought a few new ones and i have lots of BGs.)
i got a cute top at wal-mart. dennis didn’t care what i bought at that point LOL it has a pretty dragonfly print on it. OF COURSE, NOW that i went shopping all over to find stuff, they had all kinds of stuff at that wal-mart. shorts, tops, capris…they had it all. i mean, seriously?? nobody had anything before!!!
now to pack up my bag at some point and choose coming home outfits and whatnot for the diaper bag and i’ll be set. well, besides the actual baby

I LOVE that diaperbag! I still have my large snoopy one my friend bought at my babyshower, and he still uses it to spend the night with my mom. I am so eager to see if your baby is a boy or a girl and how much the baby weighs

RYN: I guess. I’m sure it’s not like that every week though, I’m usually the one in the house stuck eating leftovers because Trev thinks he’s too good for them and Cheryl think everything goes bad after 24 hours :/

LOL… a diaper bag made of gold flakes. You crack me up. By the way, thanks for watching The Miss USA pageant. I didn’t know they aired that in Canada. 😉 My friend did great! She made it to the top 8! I was so impressed. I still wish she would have won though. I think she was the prettiest one of all. 🙂

I always gave my patients (even though I’m not a mat nurse, but we did do some gyne surgeries) tons of mesh panties. I never wanted my patients to ruin their underwear!

ryn: Not that I know of and the other problem…I don’t really have very good people skills, it’s part of the reason I’m not able to work….I don’t do well around people..it’s a double edge sword and one I’m trying to work around.

RYN tbh its really rough, he always wants attention but ONLY when the baby is on you, or the baby needs something. When im nursing, hes into something, throwing things, angry, or just being typically two and i cant stop him. Its kinda rough, But it will pass.

ryn: Reagan hasn’t ever been one to run off. I haven’t had to worry about it at home or elsewhere. I think it’s just a personality thing… Really even the dog sticks around in the unfenced yard.

RYN yeah B goes back to school in Aug, and I applied for preschool for conner, we make JUST under the income limits ( by like 5 thousand dollars a year) So he should get in, hes 4 and its a Kindergarden readyness thing. They take 4 year olds from low income first and suppliment with 4 year olds who can pay ( like 300 a month) then 3 year olds from low income and then 3 year olds who can pay if

there is space. I dont know when the year starts. I just got the app dropped off, so i hope to get a call from them soon. Then this fall/winter will be alot easier with the two in school. Even though reg school is 8 am to 4 pm and preschool is like 6 am to noon lol.

RYN: No, they’re harmless little gardener snakes, but they’re still SNAKES! Alyssa’s afraid of the things I’m not, such as ANY bug, but after she ran to the house as I instructed she told Trev to go find the snake and catch it so she could see. Ugh, no! That’s just my normal amount of food, I can eat that much and totally be full :/ I see no point in stuffing myself just to get the calorie count up, ya know. It’s just what my body is used to I guess because I’ve always eaten small-ish portions.
