1.) At what age did you know the most good jokes?

i have the worst memory so never.

2.) About what subject have you forgotten the most?

Math!

3.) Can you sit still well?

Not really

4.) Have you ever been burned by a video game system that never caught on?

No

5.) What is your opinion of greeting cards?

i kind of think they’re a waste bc ppl throw them away. i do like to make them for ppl but only the ppl who appreciate them the most. my bf seems to appreciate handmade cards.

6.) Have you ever wished your room could be dusted for fingerprints, as in the cop movies, just so you could see?

uh, no.

7.) At a certain point, will we all switch to "old-people’s clothes," or will we go on dressing as we always have until we learn what we’ve been wearing ARE old people’s clothes?

i think ppl do switch to "old ppl clothes" bc they’re all about comfort and ease. they have elastic wastes and are easy to put on with arthritic fingers, easy to get off for bathroom visits, roomy for chaning bodies etc. it’s just too bad they’re most often not better looking!

8.) Where, if you have a choice, do you like to sit when at the movies, towards the front or towards the back? Do you like to turn around and look at the shining, rapt faces?

i will only sit on the side 2 seaters at the back (our theaters pretty much always have those.) if they are not available, i will sit on the aisle near the back. the same goes for when i’m in an audience of any sort.

9.) As a teenager, did you loiter? A lot?

yes! we ended up with the name "dirt kids", though we hated that. what were we supposed to do? we had nowhere to go in this small town but ppl are jerks. some of the kids who hung around town were "bad" kids though so everyone got a bad rep. kids also went on "crop tours" (drive around in the country realllly slowly and drink) but that wasn’t really my thing.

10.) Have you ever been caught in the act of sex? Were you secretly proud?

hmmm…not really. my dad came back home once (i think on purpose) when we thought he’d gone but we spotted him on time.

11.) How little must you sleep before you round down to none, tell others you didn’t sleep a wink? Three hours? Two? One?

prob 3 hours or less. Beau doesn’t sleep so i don’t think i sleep at all these days.

12.) Are there any card games you’d say you were good at?

Nope. i’m not a card player.

13.) Do you have any collections of things (books, wines, sports cards, jeans, fountain pens, stamps, toy figurines in original packaging) that you actively grow?

books, frog things for a while there, and now these pretty Willow Tree figurines i love: http://willowtree.info/. i have 2 of them: a mom and 2 boys and 2 boys. besides that, i have a bunch of angels from my mom.

14.) What’s the most you’ve ever shelled out for shoes?

i have messed up feet so i have no option to go cheap, as much as i’d like to but i’ve always bought good running shoes. before my feet "spread" from pregnancy, i wore only Nike running shoes. now i wear ugly stupid New Balance, which i hate bc they’re so frickin ugly. they rarely have a pair i like and if i do, i see them in a mag and never in person. anyway, i guess i spend around $100 on shoes when i buy new running shoes.

15.) Do you or have you ever had a nickname? Were you one of these people at whom nicknames, like noodles at cabinets, were thrown?

yes, i’ve had some i hated. ugh. but we’ll skip those.

 dennis calls me sweetie and cutie. ONLY my mom, my sister and her man are allowed to call me Terese. everyone else has to call me Teresa. i think the coach at the club has called me Terese and i was ok with it. most ppl use it when they want something so i don’t allow it. one of the girls at the club calls me Reece and another has been saying Te-Te lately. haha. i can’t think if the coach has a name for me or not…he calls Dennis Silky bc of a certain halloween costume haha (i was a kickboxer and he was my groupie.) my aunt used to call me Tsetse fly.

16.) Regarding socks and underwear, do you replace piece by piece or every two or three years overhaul the whole drawer?

when i’m in need of new ones, i buy new ones.

17.) How much tolerance do you have for coincidence (at what point, I mean, will religious thoughts kick in?)

?

i believe in fate, if that’s what you mean.

18.) Any authors whose work you’ve read every single published word of?

pretty much all of Shakespeare in uni.

all Sophie Kinsella books.

there are probably many others i’m forgetting.

19.) Do you like finding evidence of things you do, like movie ticket stubs folded in your wallet from a movie you saw months ago or perhaps a menu from a friend’s wedding in a suit packet that causes you to suddenly remember exactly what you ate on a day three long years ago?

20.) Have you ever liked an ID photo so much you’ve kept the ID or become indignant at the fact that you had to give it back at the end of the experience for which it was needed?

um no? i’ve never had to give one back…and i haven’t had that many really.

21.) How long does it take you to learn a grocery store?

i never really do but that’s bc dennis does the grocery shopping. i only go along when i want to get out of the house.

Yes

23.) Do you ever have the desire to organize your experiences by, say, photographing every bed in every hotel yo

u’ve ever slept in or every cluttered coffee table you’ve spent a talk-filled night around or every bar-stool you’ve sat on long enough to warm? What would this accomplish, this endless compiling? Would it matter that there’d never be time to sort through the stacks, or is the important thing simply that the stacks be there, to be tipped over, then righted and squared with soft, short, parallel-palmed pushes?

Umm.. no… lol

24.) Which do you think is more infectious, a whisper or a yawn?

Yawn!

25.) Which do you think is more irresistible, a window or a mirror? What about a piano in a room with a dusty shaft of sunlight and no one to forbid you?
hmmm. prob both! i use windows as mirrors to make sure i don’t have anything on my face or my shirt hasn’t ridden up to show my back (i walk a lot and things move around)
