last day

this is the last day. one more sleep! irene has been keeping me company 🙂 she made us a big tasty lasagna on wed. night and yesterday her friend from university (i knew her too since irene was my friend/roommate and all) came over with her baby. that was a fun visit. then my mom came over (with TWO awesome sweater dresses for me and a few things for the boys) and took us out for supper and shopping. we had pizza hut, during which Beau was happy and cute (that’s 2 suppers out in a row!!) after we got home and the boys were in bed, Irene and i watched the CUTEST movie. if you haven’t seen Ramona and Beezus, watch it. it’s so cute and funny too 🙂

i don’t think i’ve been the greatest company b/c i’ve been SO tired. i felt likea zombie tues to wed and started to wake up a bit yesterday when Beau slept a bit better overnight. little bum.

notepads for stockings and some little toy bats (they’re halloween haha. i grabbed some glittery stickers for scrapbooking too)

25 cent bags with spiderman and other superheroes to put presents in (great deal on halloween bags that will so work for gift bags!)

Mickey Mouse set of books for Beau

a set of 5 hotwheel cars for Sawyer (on sale for $7.99)

a Transformer for Sawyer (half off)

a Princess game and a Mickey Mouse game for kids whose names we have for one of the parties we have to attend (only $3.99-they’re $5 gifts)

other stuff they don’t have to wait til Christmas for:

Toy Story sippy cups for Beau

Phineas and Ferb advent calendar for Sawyer and (cheaper) teddy bear one for Beau

and i grabbed pretty fleece baby blankets to keep as gifts for girls i know who are having babies.

we tried the CUTEST hat on Beau. it was a turtle hat and mitts set. so cute. i didn’t buy it though. it doesn’t match his coat and i didn’t know if i wanted to spend $10 on a hat and mitts.

still have more to go but made some headway. sawyer is likely getting a DS so the above will be about it for him and he’ll get a game for his bday maybe. beau really liked this toy story phone. i didn’t know if i wanted to pay $25 for it so we’ll have a look at it again when Dennis and I go together. it’s not really in Beau’s age group so we’ll have to check it out carefully and decide if it’s worth it (in the states, i see you can get it for $19! our dollar is the same right now. ridiculous.)
