’bout time!
of course, since we’ve been unable to come on here, i’ve had a great week and i couldn’t tell any of you about it!! sucky!
last sat. we went over the border and went shopping *LOVE* i got:
these shoes, which were almost $20 more over here in canada and our dollar is pretty much at par. ridiculous. i think i was petting them while waiting in line to pay (behind this really obnoxious family)
and this yoga bag
lots of scrapbooking supplies (paper, stamps, etc) and a picture frame with 8 spots for our bathroom.

i also picked up some AZO since we can’t get it over here. i couldn’t believe the urinary tract infection relief meds U.S. residents have available right on the drugstore shelf! we have NOTHING. they stopped making prescription AZO here so my doc can’t even prescribe it anymore. haha of course i haven’t had a UTI in the longest time now that i have the drugs to help the symptoms (seriously, if this shit is the same as the prescription meds-same name so i’m guessing yeah-it is amazing.)
when we got back to canada i got some comfy pj shorts and a little lingerie (we always get lingerie for when dennis returns from hunting in nov.) the nightie is pretty much all black lace. dennis is a fan of lace. it was buy one get one so i got the shorts b/c they are super comfy.well, actually i thought they might work for working out but they’re so cozy i wear them a lot at home. i take off my jeans or whatever and put them on. of course, i’m always cold so i have to wear a blanket too LOL dennis says they look really cute but i don’t know if i’m going to venture to the club in them.
in other news, my friend irene is coming to visit me while dennis is away hunting!! yay!! b/c his week is being cut short this year, that means i’m only going to be alone a couple nights. i HATE being here alone (the boys don’t count.) i am buying some cute stuff from Avon from her 🙂
i hope hope hope it fits. their measurements are odd.
for Dennis, since Irene is going to be delivering it while he’s gone away (did i mention his bday is in Nov?)
i THINK that’s everything…i got a bath pillow and have actually been enjoying soaking in the tub! normally i’d say screw that but it’s kind of nice to immerse myself in the warmth 🙂 we have a deep tub now (and it’s a nice one) so i thought it would be a shame to waste it!
in really great news, i got TWO compliments from editors this week. one gave me a $10 bonus on top of my regular pay and told me she likes working with me more than a lot of her other writers. the other told me my Paula Nelson article has been read more than any of the other articles in the mag (that happened with one of my articles last issue too!)
so, it’s been quite a week and i’ve missed all of you!!!!

LOVE your new goodies! I don’t think I can pull off most of the ankle boot styles, my legs just look so weird with something short, but they are SO CUTE. I wish I could. I’m a knee high boot kind of girl. I’m warming up to the 80’s/90’s throwback flannels too, love that shirt. The AZO is a serious lifesaver, I didn’t know about it until I went through that horrible UTI/kidney infection and it is amiracle drug. My MD wrote me an rx for the rx strength stuff but I stocked up on the OTC stuff as well since it’s just a lower dose. It’s like $2/3 for a box! Amazing! I’m really glad that you haven’t had to fight symptoms for awhile though.

Wayne is getting ready for his hunting trips. He will be gone 8 nights/9days. I work 4 of those nights. I’m more nervous about leaving my Mom and Eric alone those 4 nights then me being alone the other 4.

RYN: Oh I know they do I plan on getting some boots from them for Xmas, I just hadn’t seen that coat or I’d be all over that! I need a new coat too, perfect!
