beach day

today, after i had my hair cut and eyebrows waxed (finally-they were bugging me!) and dennis was done at the club, we went to the beach. it was the nicest day. these boys LOVE the water. and beau. my goodness. it’s like we traded him in for a different child some days. even one of our friends commented on how glad she is for us that he is so happy now. it’s nice to have friends who care about what we went through with him.

we all swam (yes, even i wore my bathing suit IN PUBLIC and went in. i also wore SHORTS-bought some last night-which i generally don’t do. i felt self-conscious but made myself forget it for the beach trip b/c i just wanted to have a good time) and had fun splashing in the water together. i’m really glad i went in with them 🙂 really really glad. sometimes i miss out these moments b/c i can’t be bothered to put on a bathing suit or don’t want to b/c i’m self-conscious but today,i felt how warm the water was and changed into my suit, b/c i couldn’t resist.

when i was done swimming, i took beau for a walk to the washrooms (you park on the beach but we had to park pretty far from the washrooms) and changed back into my clothes. on the way back,i made a friend:

the look on a man’s face i passed on the way back was pretty priceless. walking along pushing the buggy, a butterfly on one finger. he said something to me too. i grinned back. LOL.

so, in all, lovely day. we’re going to watch "bounty hunter" in a bit so off i go…
