off we go!
last night, at like 11:30 p.m., we decided FUCK IT! let’s get a room, so we (and the kids) are heading to niagara falls today to stay overnight!! we’ll be hitting the falls and area and maybe rainforest cafe today and marineland tomorrow. i’m excited!! i love hotel rooms and wandering around places like niagara falls. we won’t be doing much else on our vacay but dennis and i are having a yoga/grappling at a fight club we know/shopping/eclipse day on thursday while the kids have a sleepover at dennis’s parents.
yesterday, sawyer scared me so badly at the family picnic. he was playing in the pool but went inside to pee and when he came back, i guess his lifejacket was taken (they thought he was done) and so he just GOT IN! he thought he could touch b/c he can at his cousin’s house. i don’t rememeber where i was but i came out and saw his little head bobbing, trying to stay afloat. he wasn’t freaking out, just trying to get somewhere or get his head up. apparently, i am pretty calm in a crisis. i ran over and asked one of the girls in the pool to get him-well, i didn’t ask-i pointed and said "jess! becca!!!! get sawyer!!!" and she did. i am forever grateful to her (haha even though i called her by her sister’s name first.) i couldn’t sleep last night thinking what could’ve happened.
he took a break from the pool but was back in there later. at least it didn’t give him a fear of water.

beau has another throat infection. we got him some meds yesterday. after 3 nights of crying, i realized it wasn’t a cold and we took him in. dennis has another ear/throat infection too. man, these guys can’t get rid of this thing. oh well, beau SLEPT last night. dennis and i got a glorious night of sleeping alone without a crying child rolling around in our bed and we got to do the nasty 😉 it’s been a while and we were at our wit’s end with getting no sleep so thank goodness!!!!
so i’m off to pack. i made a list…nope, wait, change beau’s poopy butt and THEN pack and stuff.

Ryn: I don’t see why *I* would be sad over that comment though, knowing very well that Jamie and I joke around like that with each other alllllllll the time. I can say just about anything to him too and we just laugh and laugh, it’s the way we are with each other. RYN: I have cellulite too lol IDK people tell me I have nice legs so I guess it’s not that bad. But I’m not really ashamed of my body so I wear what’s comfy. Sometimes that exposes things, other times it covers them up!
