dephomo 22: bad habit
obsessing over my weight. even in a happy moment, like mini-golfing here with sawyer, i saw the picture later on and was upset by how fat i looked. i wish i could convince myself to get over my weight, to see myself how my hubby does, but i can’t. it’s only gotten worse since i had to stop my daily walks (and i haven’t lost any weight since then) b/c of my problems with my feet. the holiday season has gotten me thinking about this b/c of all the social events and parties and such we will be attending. it just kicks my anxiety into high gear.
(august 2009)
well, now that i have bared my soul to the world and will likely regret it, i’m off!

It’s hard for us to see ourselves the way guys do. I obsess about how I look all the time too….and still don’t believe people when they tell me I’m beautiful or sexy.

My parents tell me all the time that the most attractive thing you can wear is confidence and a smile. I agree! You look great, here… beautiful smile!

RYN: Just from my profile pic I guess, which was the same one I use here :/ Whatever. I agree with the other noter about the smile. Looking at this pic that would be the first thing I noticed, how happy you look, not your weight.

I’m the same way. Only I am a huge cow. Ever since my pregnancy with De my thyroid issues have been worse. I cant lose no matter what I try. I’m praying the synthroid helps get it in control so I can lose.
