 OD was screwy again yesterday. argh.

had book club this morning. now that sawyer and F (his friend from wednesday’s play dates) play together really well, i didn’t have to chase after him as much. but he was throwing things which was a problem (to me, i mean. i don’t think anyone noticed) but F was eating and no one was paying attention to sawyer so that was what the throwing was about. butthead. just acting out, as toddlers will do. i took him aside and talked to him about it. he did it again so i had to talk to him again and then he stopped. i think he came to sit for a snack or something. some days. LOL.
 
F was getting mad b/c he was trying to clean up the lego he poured all over the floor and sawyer was trying to use the tote they go in for a wagon for his kitty (the tote has wheels.) i got made at all of them and made the boys clean up and put the box aside. C indulges F a bit much. sawyer wasn’t even mad about it but i got ticked b/c C was trying to convince sawyer to do what F wanted, as usual, so i said "fine no one gets the stuff" and helped them put it all away. sawyer didn’t care either way; he was just having fun. F shouldn’t be allowed to freak out and get his way but what can you do? they took the toys i gave them and played nicely after that. i will only allow so much nonsense before the situation ends. that’s what works for best for sawyer and if C isn’t going to steer F away, i’ll do things my way. i’ve learned some things from her in the past about mothering and i hope she’s learned some from me too. everyone has her own way of mothering because every child is different. you have to do what works for your child. 🙂
 
we’re taking sawyer to the tractor pull tonight. i think he’s going to love it. i even bought him a pair of fleece lined jeans yesterday so he’ll be good and warm. 🙂 i put a scrapbook page in the fair. i hope no one thinks it sucks. *eep*  

mom and i did some shopping yesterday. *BEAMS* i assured dennis that mom and i agreed we’ll stay in next thursday. thursdays are such great days for sawyer and me. i get to get out of the house, hang out with mom, and sawyer gets to go to her house while i get some time alone. then i get to go to class and work out. last  night’s class was nice; i didn’t feel like the trainer was torturing us. the guys have fights on sunday so he didn’t want to overdo it. *phew* it was still a workout but not such a hard one.

we found some great stuff while shopping though. sawyer picked his costume:

i have finally realized that doing scrapbooking by the album is much easier. i get it now. i’m currently starting one for my parents for Christmas. this one is our vacation week album; two of you will recognize some of my embellishments:
