hee hee. i just realized that it looks like sawyer has a flower for a head on my border.

today went pretty well. mom came around 8:30 so we chatted and she played with sawyer. then i had a shower and we got ready to get out of here. poor sawyer wasn’t fond of the nurse when she stuck him in the leg. then she gave him stickers and he was happy with that…until she gave him another shot in the arm. he wasn’t happy with her but got over it very quickly. it helped that there was a tractor outside with attached bucket and backho working on someone’s property. that was much more interesting than crying about his shots. i put the stickers on his wipes case so that was exciting too.

we went to the dollar store and sawyer picked out a truck. he was very very sure that he wanted that truck. i like that he’s decisive. saves me a lot of decisions on his part. i had a dinosaur sticker in my wallet so i stuck that on the hood. he also got a bob bowl. i got a few other things and we were off to wal-mart to exchange a photo album refill i bought (wrong size.) we had some mcdonald’s (i know. bad choice but it’s not often. no child should have that much salt on his fries on a regular basis. yuck.)

after Giant Tiger, where i got the perfect purple sheets for our bed and a computer game for sawyer (in the future), we decided to head home so sawyer could rest. he was fine but looking a little tired. i was worried dennis might not like me using my card (especially since i’ve been buying things on ebay of late) to buy sheets but he bought boxing gloves on his way home and they cost more than my sheets did. i didn’t think he’d be mad or anything but i don’t like buying things on my credit card unless i have to. i’ve been spending a lot of money lately. my birthday boots (expensive) should be in tomorrow. and i’m going out for supper with some girls on sunday ($23.99 a plate plus drinks–it’s at a wonderful chinese buffet place.) and i’m going to a stampin up party on the 23rd. i’m grateful that we have the money for luxuries…or non-necessities.

i am going to get a new computer very soon. this one is not meant for being used as much as i do. it’s been very good to me and i’ll still use it but it’s time for a desktop computer rather than a laptop. dennis has found another dell for me to buy. this dell has never had issues and the IT guy at dennis’s work had a look at the one dennis was considering and agreed that it was an excellent choice. he said he couldn’t build one as good as that for that price.

so, i’m gettin’ another dell, dude.

my friend and sawyer’s play date friend will probably be moving soon. they’ve sold their house. 🙁 no more play dates, as they’ll be a couple hours away. oh well. i’ll have to remember to get a picture of the boys together at their next play date.

i found out there might not be yoga on monday nights anymore. it’s pretty certain. 🙁 i talked to the "dumb" librarian though so i’m not entirely sure. i think maybe i’ll do kickboxing thursdays and try out the yoga class in a town about 20 minutes away on saturday mornings. dennis and sawyer can go swimming while i’m there. OR i have a friend who is interested in going to yoga so she might want to go. i really miss yoga and need to find a class. there’s a tuesday class here in town but no way i can go, as it’s at 9 a.m.

other than all that, nothing of interest is going on. i have to get sawyer his milk cup so he can start getting ready for bed. he’s exhausted but has been having fun playing with his little train set we got him for christmas (he finally really gets the point of the mat that came with it. i set it up on the table and he played with it for almost an hour.)
