i hurt. stupid bladder.

at least my rib is a bit better. the chiropractor popped it back in last night. i don’t know how he finds the time to do anything about adjusting my body when he’s so busy hitting on it! *winks* dirty old man.

we’re not up to much this weekend. dennis is going golfing with his work people tomorrow. he invited a friend from outside of work b/c his partner’s grandma died (they picked names randomly for partners.) then on sunday is his company picnic. crappy sentence or what?!

this bladder infection is kicking me in the teeth. so is sawyer. suddenly, he keeps waking up at 6:30. wtf? just b/c i said i was glad that he didn’t wake up at 6:30 like some of our friends’ kids? why does karma have to go after me? i didn’t even say it in a mean way; i was just saying i couldn’t handle that time of day every day. i am a night owl. sawyer usually gets up around 8 or 9 and that is too early for me. this morning he woke up b/c he fell out of bed. he seems to fall feet first, which is good. he just walks over to the door and calls to us. this morning, he saved dennis from being late (missed his alarm somehow) but i could’ve used more sleep. 🙁

he’s slowly getting to understand this whole potty thing. he pointed at his bum and said "bum" to me as he was pooping. we were too late for the potty. that’s a good sign though. he knows what is going on. i think he’s constipated though, so i’m not pushing him to sit on the potty; he’s very concerned about what’s going on with his butt and i don’t want to overwhelm him by going all crazy with the potty or something. he might resist it altogether if i do. besides, he’s got lots of time to learn.

some of the girls i hung around with in the first couple years of high school (but not as much in the last 3) have arranged a reunion so we’ll be going to that the day after my birthday. that should be interesting and hopefully, fun but not awkward. and hopefully the weather is agreeable.

lately, it’s been good and hot. summer’s not gone yet, thankfully!

p.s. pray for one of my faves whose son was recently injured and might be taken from her because she can’t explain how it happened. 🙁

Yay for Sawyer and the potty! That is awesome! It’s still pretty hot here too, though I haven’t been outdoors to swelter in it hehe.

I am tired of summer. really I am.

ryn: haha. it always snows here in september. I’ve seen snow EVERY SINGLE MONTH OF THE YEAR since moving here 12 years ago. I personally haven’t been around for snow in June, but my mom e-mailed me pictures of it while Iw as in bosnia. I’ve experienced it first hand every other month though. Usually we don’t get full-blown snowy cold for at least a month weather until Jan/Feb/March But it starts snowing/sleeting in late aug/early sept. and does that until about October, then we get a big dump in october, and one in november, and maybe at the BEGINNING of december but we rarely have snow at /on christmas, then we get a big dump in january… it’s wierd here though because we get chinooks so in January, when it was -30 the previous day with 3 feet of snow, you could be walking around the next day in +18 weather. 🙂 hell you could be walking around 3 hours later in +18 weather lol.

Have fun at the reunion. Sounds like a lot of fun to me. I love reconnecting with old friends. I am so ready to Fall. I love swimming and summer, but enough of this insane heat aleady!

ryn: I know, right!!! Granted, her house is REALLY far from the street, and she has a cool winding driving with soccer goals and such, but still. Her house is GINORMOUSLYHUGE – she could’ve at least.. I don’t know lol. Whatever.

ryn: he did a phone interview with our local radio station this morning and said some really bonehead stuff. they asked him about back to school and he said his worst subject was “listening” and then goes “my mom always told me though “JD, A students work for D students” so it’s ok if I’m a D Student.”

The reunion sounds like fun. YAY Sawyer!! I am so tired of hot weather. In Aug most of our temps were high 90’s or in the 100’s, Boooo!!!

September 8, 2007

no we don’t pay tax on “necessities” eg. Most food. like fruits and vegetables and meat and stuff… The government gets to decide what is a necessity.

September 8, 2007

RYN: Yup, no need for us to suffer just because our husbands are butts sometimes lol

September 8, 2007

Your damn bladder! 🙁 kristen

September 8, 2007

sorry you have a bladder infection 🙁 not fun… Sawyer is so smart! that’s great that he’s doing so well with the potty!

September 8, 2007

Ryn: when I say “tax” I mean GST. (Because in AB we don’t have PST or HST or whatever it’s called). GST is Federal. So the rules are the same everywhere. 🙂

September 9, 2007

Sorry about that friggin’ bladder infection. At least you have the reunion to look forward to. Hope y’all have tons of fun which I’m sure you will. What will you be doing/going? I’m also sorry to hear about your OD buddy. Hope all goes well.
