i am feeling better today. *phew* no more feeling like i’m going to die. dennis forgot to take my magazine back to the library, so i had to walk it up there this morning and i made it there and back without dying! yay for that. i am hoping i can make it through the wedding, dinner, and reception tomorrow without feeling like crap all day. i’m hopeful, since today is going fairly well.

dennis had to go get more paint during lunch today and after work, he’s getting curtain rods and blinds. i am SO glad to get rid of those ugly white plastic blinds and the ugly, falling down rods that some moron didn’t put up right. he’s going to put another coat or two on and then do the stripes tonight. 🙂

sawyer was on the front of our local paper. i happen to know the editor/photographer (i worked with her), so i’m not surprised. also, it’s a really good picture, so i’m not surprised again. LOL. that was an awkward sentence. anyway, under the picture it says "sawyer j. enjoys eating corn-on-the-cob at the 25th annual Cornfest last weekend. Sawyer is the son of Teresa and Dennis J. of [our town.]"  

nothing much is going on. i think i will read outside later and let sawyer play on the patio…if i don’t decide to clean instead. or get distracted on here. i do have to clean at some point, but i might do it later on. i’m a night person so i like to do things during the hours of the day in which other people are just winding down.

it actually took me some time before i noticed dennis had kleenex shoved up his nose (looks good on him! ha! just kidding. we made up. i swear.) sparring. enough said.

these are from this morning. better light and all. you can see the pinkish colour against the purple ceiling. obviously, the window sills need painting. we haven’t decided what colour they will be. we will see what’s left. as i said, dennis is on his way to get a second can of wall colour.
