Special marsh plants are special

 

I applied for an invasive plant mapping internship in the redwood forest :3

My GPA is around a 2.2 atm….so I’m not sure what my chances are of getting it.

They extended the deadline to the end of this month so they must not have gotten many applicants.

 

 

there is this old man that sometimes comes into work and gives who ever is working the cash register an agate.

Since I’m still not yet fully trained I am always on the cash register. I have 3 agates 🙂

The most recent agate was the most beautiful. little bubbling grey and white spirals.

I wonder where he found them. There is this beach a little north of here called agate beach, always covered with people camping up and down the coast stopping for a chance to find their very own agate! I’ve never found one, although there are plenty of other beautiful things that was up on the seashore.

 

 

Eric has been harvesting this whole week, replanting clones, completely uninterested in sex, getting mad at me when I want sex. 

We’ve spent every night together since I got back. 

Sort of, he falls asleep around 8pm and then gets up at 2 or 3 when the lights turn back on..

I like him best in the mornings, before he’s smoked anything.

He gets annoyed at me when I am truly awake and excited about something and want to talk about it when I’m sober and he’s high.

I’ve stopped having those sorts of conversations with him all together because nothing good seems to come of them.

It’s easy right now, sleeping, watching movies having a few cocktails, working ~20 hours a week.

I like to be mentally awake, present, absorbing information, thinking.

He gets defensive when he doesn’t understand things I’m talking about, and acts like I’m intentionally being condescending.

That’s not what I’m doing, I just forget sometimes that he has very little higher education.

He could be in college right now, he could have already graduated. 

He doesn’t seem interested in trying like that anymore, instead of reaching up to me he just wants me to come down to his level.

 

I don’t know.
