All signs are pointing to staying down here for the summer.

I got an internship.

It’s super cool, mostly working on maintaining and creating a native plants seed bank.

California has so many cool plants.

I wish it was somewhere else, so I didn’t have to live at home, also maybe somewhere that wasn’t so smoggy and crowded.

It would be stupid to not take the only real internship chance I’ve got, but it simultaneously feels stimulating and suffocating.

Because on the one hand it’s really cool, but on the other hand, my parents have SO MANY opinions about how I should do it.

This is why I chose animals over plants in the first place, but I may actually like plants more…we’ll see…

I can’t really pretend to know anything anymore.

My brother graduated HS yesterday.

saw a bunch of people I haven’t seen since MY graduation.

that was fun

also reminded me of how much I didn’t like HS.

It’s hot.

I’m melting,

and

I’m dreaming of cool beaches and redwood trees.

Someone take me home <3
