Bring on the Rain!

In a few short hours, the rain will fall upon the area. I am most excited as I feel as the day has gone on, there is nothing I rather see than a down pour of rain. As many of you already know, my Monday is the only day off I have from either job. Of course as of late, I have not taken full advantage of it as much as I should. Like today, I woke up fairly early and tried to get John up to run a few errands before his orientation, but alas those plans fell through. Plus I was on a restricted time as I was asked to watch the babies for a bit while my sister went to the doctor’s. John didn’t wake up, however, until after noon when I had to be at my sister’s at 1pm. So he got angry because I left his XBOX running for longer than a minute as my brother called for a number and basically freaked out. Since then, we have no spoken. He even went as far as going out the other door to leave without saying good-bye. Me being a sensitive person, I started to cry. Things with us has been a bit nonexistent so to say. I don’t know what to say really anymore. I just ignored it as much as he does.

Meanwhile, I have been reading a lot more. Right now I am reading "Villette" by Charlotte Bronte which is good so far but really long. However my interest is still there after 100 pages and it’s not completely old english which I am glad, as sometimes that seems to take a lifetime to get through one page! Another hobby that I am starting to get into again is writing. It’s a very slow process but it’s getting there. It helps that my latest dreams have been some inspiration, so hopefully it will get more develop as the summer goes on. Also, returning from Michael’s as I practically live there, I picked up two books: one for pencil drawing and the other for acrylics; as well as pencils, sketch book and erasers. I will do anything I can to be distracted. I hate just watching television, I find it so wasteful. So with these new hobbies on top of scrapbooking, I really can’t complain about being bored!

After the whole drama of availability at work, I decided to open up all my days, even if some only start at 6:30pm, I figure it doesn’t hurt if they do put me on because I need the money. I can have a vacation next year, right now my concern is money and saving it. That’s my main priority.
