Holiday Times
Worked Today and now I’m addicted to Lattes. We just got our express machine and it’s the coolest thing in the world. See, I work at Dunkin Donuts, so this is a big deal for us. I usually work the weekends, but since I’m on winter break, got lots of time to work. It helps that I don’t go out really either, so all my tips (yes, we do accept them) just keep adding up. I always feel weird that I have alot of money on times. It’s like I don’t deserve it or something. Who knows, but I’m starting to enjoy work again. I think it’s the customer that really make my time there worth it. So many interesting people come through those doors. I have gotten to know alot of them over the years, considering I have been working there since I was 14. Crazy stuff but it’s all easy for me. It’s like my second home, a comfort zone for me. It’s def the customers in which I enjoy the most. It’s so interesting to hear all the stories, espeically the old guys, the regulars who sit at the tables and you just learn so much from them. It’s so much fun.
Only a few more days until Christmas, every year so many people say, it’s comes too fast. I have such a different outlook on Christmas than I once did. I guess it’s me really growing up, I just love giving. I always love to see the expression on people’s faces when you get them something that they truly want and all. It’s seriously one of the best feelings. It’s gonna be really nice when the whole family gets together and always fun times. Never a dull moment at any Potter event. 🙂 New Years is even better. My family friends come over and you are always laughing. Such an awesome feeling to see everyone that you know and love around you to ring in the New Year.
My uncle was mention in the paper this past week and wasn’t fun or good. A past case of his was brought from over 50 years ago. He is a Priest, so I’m sure you have an idea of what I am talking about. It’s not fair because they dismissed his case so many years ago and then they bring up and fired him? Doesn’t make sense at all and it sucks because he is in the hospital right now. He’s talking with lawyers and he should really do something about it. I hope he comes by for Christmas, I’m sure he will, he never lets us down.
I have become very close to my family and so grateful for that. Last week we went to church together. I have really bonded with my mother as well. I don’t have any problems with the siblings either. I think the whole family situation is really working out well. I’m so happy that I finally feel like I belong. Just feels amazing when you know where you belong and know that it is right there at home.
I think I’m going to write more in here, such a nice release to know what is going on and what not. I’m hoping to get a code for live journal. It’s weird that you need one, but I guess it’s worth it, never been on the site, yet been on every other journal site on the net, lol. Well gonna go back to playing YAHOO pool, which I suck at, but always fun none the least.
