Warped Tour
On Friday, I was lucky enough to go to Warped Tour. It was quite an experience as well and it was all good in the end. Me, Cait, and Steph all headed out to the ferry parking lot around ten of 12. We had to park in Hyatt Hotel parking lot because the other lot was filled. We were parked on Level 5, and there were alot of people for Warped Tour, so it was really no biggie. Well, somehow, Cait locked her keys in the car while the car was still running. So that was a great start. Steph and Cait went downstairs after calling Triple A and I got to stay up there with the running car. I think I might inhale too much of the exhaust because by the time they all came up, I was a bit dizzy, lol.
So we were happy that the guy came in like 20 minutes. So we were all jumping for joy that we got the keys and the car wasn’t completely on E. Then as we are about to leave, we shut the door of that one the guy opened with, and it wouldn’t shut. This is great, ya know ..after waiting, we had to wait some more for that guy to come back. Yeah he came around 15 minutes later and laughed the whole time while fixing the door.
By the time we got to the Ferry, the line was extremely long. So considering we got to Philly around 12ish, we didn’t get to the concert until 2ish. It was cool though, The Ataris were just finishing up and we decided to check out all the booths. There were too many people though. Mad sweat coming off each other bodies, really bad. We got our t-shirts and random stuff and decided to just walk around a bit and find out what bands we wanna see and just enjoy the atmosphere. We found some people from our old school, so that was cool and we just talked with them for a bit. We saw Starting Line, they weren’t too bad and then headed over to the other stage to see All-American Rejects, they were awesome. Then we had awhile before we could see Simple Plan because Cait really wanted to see them.
We got to that stage a bit early to get closer to the stage. As we were waiting, we have found ourselves surrounded by little kids and their parents, very scary, lol. They were all dressed up in “punk” and what not. Wow, what a site to see of the next generation. Anyways, I saw this kid with the words, “Rap Sucks” across the shirt. It was the same kid I talked to, the night before, whom I met in the Warped Tour boards. He was completely good-looking. It was soo weird to have seen him in the midst of the thousands of people there. Just was a good sign that he was right next to me. He looked over and I swear I thought he recognize me, but found out later he didn’t. Oh well, Simple Plan performed and were actually pretty good. Alot of mosh pits and crowd surfers, it was fun.
We decided to leave after Simple Plan, didn’t really wanna see any of the other bands, so we were heading towards where we left Steph who didn’t wanna see Simple plan and saw HIM again. What are the odds, I stared at him for a bit and smiled, assuming he knew who I was, but again, he didn’t because he was high. It was okay, I got to see him again. The line for the ferry wasn’t bad so no more waiting for us.
We headed back and got home around 8:30ish to get some dinner at Wendys and all head back to our respective homes. It was a fun night and def will never 4get it.
I wanted to go, I also wanted to go to Lalapalooza.
