FINALLY

I finally got my new laptop today, and I am quite happy. It didn’t take long to figure it out, I’ve been using computers for years, so it’s not an issue. Just new adjustments and things. Like for instance, this new keyboard. The keys are flat and are higher up on the board, and they are flat. I’m so used to the keys being more raised and further down the board. It’ll take a lil adjusting, but I don’t see it being a problem. I plan to use this as usual, but my main goal of getting this, was to use for school. I plan to purchase a external hard drive in the future, but I’m cool with the memory here thus far. I don’t plan to save everything I have on my old computer here, just important things. I’ll also be adding my webroot virus protection system to this one (i haven’t renewed it on my laptop, cause what for? It’s about ready to kick the bucket anyway lmao, that’s why I replaced it). I’m just grateful my refund was enough to where I could afford this AND still have money left over. I paid a decent price for this, and it’s a brand I trust.

So life, so far, has been ok. I have my moments where I just wanna scream, yell and kick, but I usually refrain lmao. I hate my job with a passion, even tho I’m grateful to have it. It’s just gotten to wear my mood is so down the closer I get to time to go to work. Many times I have contemplated just calling in, for the hell of it. Just so I can take a lil break, regardless of when my next day off is. So Friday, I did just that. I called and told them I was not going to be able to come in that day. They didn’t ask why, and I wasn’t volunteering any information. I just need the mental break, even tho I was scheduled off today and yesterday anyway. Having 3 days off was nice, and less stressful. S and I spent the day in Myrtle Beach. He’d been wanting to go to Bob Evans, and they don’t have one here. So we drove down there for breakfast, and then starting our exploring or whatever. We headed to the Tangent (sp?) outlet, same one we went to last time (I believe there are two), and visited a few store. I got some candy (i always have to go to that store lmao), and a few things for S and I. It was nice. Before heading home, we did a round of mini golf. I still suck, but it was fun. It was nice to get away, and do something fun for once. My refund…allowed for that and I am grateful.

Today I didn’t do much, just did laundry. When S got home, we headed out to Best Buy to get my laptop, went to Sam’s club for a couple items, and picked up something to eat on the way home. And home’s a good place to be, lol.
