Saw an OD’er featured on America’s Most Wanted!
While watching America’s Most Wanted last weekend I was startled to see one of our fellow Open Diarists featured there! (Gotta love this community) I’d been to their diary too, and I am exactly certain it was them on the show. I’d been following the person’s story off and on, and indeed I had no idea to where they’ed disappeared. After processing the initial awe of actually spying an OD’er prominent on TV I came to not be exactly surprised that the diarist evolved to land in such hot water.
To all: I am reluctant to connect the AMW person to their diary because of a 3rd party here at OD who might be angered by such a move. The tangents and connections comprise iron-clad evidence of it being the same person from AMW (and OD). (additional edit: Yes, the person was the perpetrator, which tends to be the case when one is ‘featured’ on America’s Most Wanted )
Somebody mentioned wanting to read some info I saw recently that was written by a working girl in the way of informing other working girls which hotels they should and shouldn’t try to use for their dates. This is all generic-seeming information yet it is interesting to some to consider the concerns of a working girl as she sets up her incall location:
Also some advice to help:
Ladies if you post (ads) on a lot of sites, make sure to blur your face. Especially (in the certain suburb).
Make sure to wear business attire or casual appropriate clothing. (No mini’s, fishnets, low cut tops…etc)
Switch hotels after two days, DO NOT use the same hotel for a week or longer
Don’t bring a bunch of food like you are going to LIVE there for a while.
Try using the side doors as well.
Don’t smoke in your room That perfume, sprays don’t cover it… it is quite obvious when you walk past a room and it smells like a bunch of flowers. (go in your car or something).
Don’t bring your dude around your incall, because hotel staff know that some pimps are abusive and can do damages without caring. (stupid guys)
If you are in an upscale place, don’t be loud noise complaints draw negative attention and will get you kicked out.
if you are high volume make sure you give the client proper directions to how to come to your room make sure he calls right before he comes, stand by the door and make sure he taps on it.. lots of loud knocking back to back will draw too much attention. Also make sure you tell the client to be quiet until inside the room or put your finger to ur lips to comunicate the "shhhh".
Upon getting ready to leave, if you plan on returning make sure you keep the place as clean as you entered it which means don’t leave trash everywhere in the room condoms by the bed, etc. Put all trash in the garbage cans, put towels and dirty sheets all in one area, make sure to put the furniture how it was… it will be easier for the maid to clean up. They appreciate that. Leave a tip for the maid. If you are on their good side and help out, they will be on your good side.
If you can, put condom wrappers, condoms, lots of tissue in a separate bag and take it with you dump it somewhere else. It makes it less obvious. Also if the police are called, they check the trash to prove that you have been trafficking a lot.
If anyone asks why you are there, or even if you are there once, twice a month and see the front desk person all the time, make sure to joke around and say something like you are substituting for a nurse that got sick, or medical administrative… etc…
If you do want to stay there for a whole week you can tell a situation like the water pipe upstairs burst and the condo/apt flooded or something like a provider has already mentioned.
Credit cards are a MUST on 3.5 star hotels and up. I know (certain hotel) accepts cash, but that is a bad place to be. They put all the girls in the back room the doors are locked, and maids already know what goes down over there. Stay away from the _______… about every single girl goes over there. The front desk guy will kick you out if he isn’t your friend.
Don’t go downstairs to open the door for anyone at the _______ either after 12am the guy watches.
The Hilton has cameras EVERYWHERE fyi.
If you go on priceline and try to get a 3.5 star hotel and put $99 for the night you will get the Hilton 80% of the time.
If you go on hotwire and try to get a 3.5 star hotel 85% of the time they will put you in the Sheraton.
If you go on hotwire and try to get a 4 star hotel 80% of the time they will put you in the __________.
If you go on hotwire and try to get a 3 star hotel 90% of the time you will be in the ______ , and 10% (other)
If you go on hotwire and try to get a 2 star hotel… I don’t know what you will get because I never tried lol These are all for Downtown
If you try city/area and do 3 star hotels on Hotwire you will get, _________, or __________
<span style="font-size: x
-small”>If you try city/area and do 3.5 star hotels on hotwire you will get the ______ hotel, which I liked…
Always try to get a different hotel every couple days.
Don’t hang out in the lobby.
In response, a male hotel desk man, who doubles as a John on the side, offers these additional tips:
so i work in the hospitalisty industry. i guess my title would better be known as a front desk agent of a chain upscale 4-star hotel. i have noticed countless providers come rent rooms to use as their incalls and have seen johns make themselves more suspicious than (Johns) are good for.
so since you all love me as much as i pay you ladies to (ha – dont laugh) let me give yall some tips on how to keep a low profile while enjoying this hobby – especially at the hotel i work at!
FOR PROVIDERS:
1. Using a websites like priceline and hotwire can get you great deals. these confirmations get faxed over to us.
2. when checking in, try coming in with a (female) friend. if you havent noticed, fridays and the end of the week are usually the slowest so the people behind the counter KNOW their guests in the house. Sat, and Monday are busy days. this makes it less suspicious b/c unless you and your friend are offering duos, no one would suspect 2 gals as ‘working gals’.
3. always pay in CC. most places (especially us) don’t take ca$h b/c it wont cover damage costs to the room in case you try that.
4. housekeeping is VERY tight. those little hispanic and filipino ladies know what your up to if your a pretty, young, single gal by yourself on a wednesday afternoon when theres no business conferences goin on downstairs. I think the best way to make friends (not foes) is to tip them.
FOR HOBBYISTS:
1. You can make eye contact and even wave hi to the people working the front desk. they pay us to greet guests that walk in. Just dont be overly friendly or draw attention to yourself.
2. take your coat off just as you walk into the lobby of the elevator. hell, even start trying to look like your getting your key (which you dont have) out of your wallet as you walk towards the elevators. taking the coat off makes it seem like your more "at home" with the place you’ve supposedly been staying at according to the front desk. if its a busy day, we really wont care. but many slow days, i will say hi to guests and address them by the last name if we see them walk into the lobby.
3. check the eyehole before leaving the room after your date. its better that there be no housekeeping in the hallway when you try to make your exit. *inset james bond theme music*
Wow.

Hang on. WHAT DID THEY DO??!
Warning Comment
Oh come on now you have to say who the ODer was who was on AMW! not fair I am too nosy to not know!
Warning Comment
Can you link to AMW’s site to the story? Or elaborate on what the crime was?
Warning Comment
Okay, yes please tell which diary and or AMW link. I want to know if I’ve ever interacted with them. Being here 13 years, it is quite possible. ( I pass through and read now and then. Your entries fascinate me :] )
Warning Comment
WTH, yeah who was it?
Warning Comment
All very good points 🙂 Another no-no is a room with adjoining door. That’s one of the easiest ways to get busted if there are stings going on. Hence, why it’s always better to pay a little more and get a nicer hotel.
Warning Comment
I can’t believe an ODer was on America’s most wanted… makes me smile
Warning Comment
I think I’m with the majority of wanting to know who it is. 🙂
Warning Comment
i want to know who too. and what they did good advice
Warning Comment
Never thought of the hotel side of things!! And OMG how can you share that story and not give the details?!
Warning Comment
Rrandom: An OD’er….yikes. Also, I’m fascinated by your diary on here, now.
Warning Comment
RYN: Haha well there’s a story behind the picture. When I’m really bored, I take narcissistic pictures of myself and play with my hair. Sometimes the pictures come out nicely, so that was a win. And lol, I have no issue with poutine being a Canadian staple. I’ll have to check out this youtube video now, though.
Warning Comment
I’m sure you are lying about this. Your diary is revolting.
Warning Comment
RYN: Thanks for your support
Warning Comment
I fucking hate pringles…the food that is…but the can is nice sized. bahaha
Warning Comment
I’m going to second what your first anonymous noter said. I checked AMW’s website and there is no mention of any of the wanted, or captured fugitives being linked to OD. YOU are probably the one they want. You’re most likely a narcissistic serial killer, or one in the making. Bundy wannabe!!
Warning Comment
No, I wasn’t mad!! Just had issues with my computer. 🙂
Warning Comment
what would “generous” mean in CL personals, now I’m curious
Warning Comment
Your indulgent prose alone is creepy. Your self-congratulation for supposedly educating us about your mind is delusional. It took ten minutes to delete the pages of insufferable comments from my page. I said nothing because I could not describe, at the time, just how slimy it felt. I never met a prostitute who didn’t want out of the industry. I didn’t appreciate your compliments because they-
Warning Comment
-were so overwrought that they just sounded insincere. It made me think twice about even showing my face. It’s actually insulting, that you think women should value your appraisal of them.
Warning Comment
And I’m not signing this simply because I don’t want to go through another page full of creepiness.
Warning Comment
And the above still another example of to what extent my anonymous noters are mentally challenged. LOL Maybe a few of you should go and pay her a visit. Alas, you’re certain to find “pages full of creepiness” at the diary of Miss Creepy. She’s obviously a scholar, you can see that much.
Warning Comment
RYN: Haha yeah pretty much! Good guess!
Warning Comment
ryn: I know whatcha mean! As a child who went to private school all my life I always thought it was a little weird when my friends went to school that was named after a number, whereas mine was named after an impressive cathedral down the block. Although, technically 126 DOES have a real name. Although they’re never referred to by anything but their number, public schools are often namedafter famous people. 126 is also the Jacob August Riis School, which I think it pretty fitting since most of his photographs and research was done on immigrants in the Chinatown area, which used to be more Italian and Jewish in the late 1800s
Warning Comment
Oh my. Was it The Chief? Another Angry Dude?
Warning Comment
Just wanted to address the anon notes: the person featured on AMW was not this diarist. I am a personal friend of the person in question. I doubt she would want her diary exposed as a fugitive, and it hasn’t been updated in years anyway. As to the person saying there is no mention of the fugitive being linked to OD, why the hell would they spend time looking through a random online diary
Warning Comment
website to try to find fugitives? It’s hardly the thing one goes looking for in an investigation. The ridiculousness of your comment really makes me question your intelligence.
Warning Comment
As for what she ALLEGEDLY did I think she is innocent of the charges. I don’t believe anything that the media says to begin with but I have known her for 10 years and the portrayal on AMW is not who she is. She cannot discuss the case with me for legal reasons but is looking forward to her trial to get her side of the story told.
Warning Comment
Is it fair to say that even I am slightly puzzled by these latest notes? Firstly, I don’t sense that I mentioned a “sheeeeeeee” in my entry here. (clarity: the above noter does indeed know the wanted OD’er) My personal opinion is that the wanted OD’er was likely pressured(/forced) into committing the crimes in question. (should we erase them and begin anew?)
Warning Comment
Clarity: should we erase our notes here?? oh, and, adding to what you said: Why the hell would somebody from Open Diary spend time looking through America’s Most Wanted’s website for random mentions of Open Diary???
Warning Comment
she wore red lipstick.
Warning Comment
Actually, hon, if you believe that hitting the wrong key is a sign of mental deficiency, and if you think it somehow cancels out the arguments above, and if you’re actually encouraging people to attack me, than you’re even creepier and more deluded than I thought. Dammit, people are trying to tell you something. If you wish to prove them wrong, LISTEN.
