My story? Pg 8
My second run though of 8th grade didn’t change much. Since I knew because of my age they had to let me pass. So I goofed off and and played with friends. Got home and left to play again. Came home and slept. Over and over. I always looked forward to summer though, like every other kid. We went on vacations almost every summer. They were always a mix of good and bad. We always got lost and Jason always got mad. He’d be a dick. And made it very un enjoyable to be on vacation at times. But sometimes we would have a ton of fun. Hiking and going to awesome hidden waterfalls in the u.p. hotels sucked. I slept on the hard scratchy floor which wasn’t all that different from my 2 inch foam pad that replaced my mattress. I don’t know why I didn’t have a mattress. But I didn’t. It wasn’t uncomfortable. But beds felt alot better. I think it had to do with the mattress height on the bunk bed Jr and I shared. He had a mattress but I didn’t. I had bottom bunk and we had the same bunk bed for probably 10 years. So I’m sure the height would get me way closer to hitting the underside of his bunk. Buuuuut anyway. Vacations were overall fun. And the car rides sucked. All three of us kids squeezing into the back seat.
