All Work and No Play…

I am currently helping out at the special school that my mother works at- special needs kids, and those with learning dissabilities.

I’m also tracking down some teaching material, as I’m tutoring an illiterate girl, Tara, to read and write. I’m making slow progress, but when she learns something new it is always rewarding.

Anyhow, when I traveled back on sunday I didn’t go through London- I’m not up to it yet! When round the outside! I met an AMAZING girl on the train to reading- moved away from South Africa a few years ago, so she’s got this really attractive lilt to her voice! She doesn’t live that far away, so I may have to ‘accidentally’ bump into her at her work place! May as well try and give cupid a helping hand! You never know, she’s the first girl I’ve met that’s actually caused me any interest whatsoever in ages!

I’m probably reading to much into it! Though having said that, she did share my fruit! AND she was mocking me towards the end of the journey- that’s got to be a sign of being comfortable around people, surely… *looks innocent*

I’m sorry to Carolyn and all the other people I haven’t had the chance to note yet, I shall try and sort that out in the next few days!

Anyway, back to painting the recreation room!

Buh-Bye

wow, i admire you for working with children… i certainly don’t have the patience. i only care to help my little brother (he’s got a learning disability), but other kids just don’t concern me. great, now i feel awful… i guess everyone can’t be as caring as you!

Sorry I haven’t left any notes for a while again been busy looking for a job and having no luck :o( The London thing hasn’t really sunk in yet it all seems a bit unreal. Then again I only go to London about once a year I guess it would feel a bit more real if I actually lived there or something. Weird. Btw if I had to guess I’d say it sounds like maybe that girl was interested.

Together we could save humanity, eh? I can work at foodshelves and soup kitchens and homeless shelters and you can work with the Future i.e. children! AMAZING idear. Good luck with that girl, you ready to settle down? *wink* This just in: Lindsey Lohan got snubbed by Brad Pitt at his movie premiere because she went to introduce herself to him and he didn’t know who she was! HAHAHA! -Neglected2

yeah, you’re becoming more and more complex to me now. I applaud you for doing all of this.
