today I told a story…

and before I got settled in to the story, the guy I was talking to said "wait a minute, how old are you??"

He was a bartender at a bar  here in Austin, and I was telling him a story about how I was once trapped in his bar during a tornado 12 years earlier. When I told him that I was 35, he said "okay, i thought ‘yeah, you were trapped here while you were 10’ ". Sweet… that’s one of the perks of working for a skincare company, I guess.
