tattoos are pretty, but they sure can sting. I sat for two new pieces last night and they’re pretty awesome. The artist took pictures and once she emails them to me, I’ll post them. I’d do it now, but I have trouble photographing my right arm alone, and the last time I asked Rich to do it for me, he took the crappiest picture ever (You want a picture? click-done-can’t be bothered).

I got a rose and a magnolia and with the lotus I already had on my right arm, I’m kinda full for now…. the area from elbow to shoulder is covered… the rose looks awesome! It starts at the elbow and goes all the way up to my arm pit… it’s kinda sexy and makes me want to go lift weights so that it looks even sexier…

Today I have a meeting at the center to discuss our teacher training mentorship program. Basically, for the past few years I’ve served as a mentor to teachers-in-training, and now we’re formalizing the program and building more structure around it. I’m really looking forward to it and seeing what it becomes.

After that, I’m teaching my regular ashtanga class and then taking a kundalini class with my new yoga buddy. yay, she’s awesome 🙂

You need a new yogi picture up there in the corner with your arm art!

RYN: thanks for your note… it puts things in perspective a little. My first tendency is always to think its me… but that’s just old stuff. It is a really hard time slot to fill.

RYN – No, I’m still in Boston 🙂 I’m getting there tomorrow morning. I might go out to Oilcan’s on Saturday or Sunday evening. If you go and you see me, say hi, okay?
