Addicted to Cafemom

Cafemom.com! Woohoo!

So it’s been awhile since I’ve written anything on here. I’m totally addicted to Cafemom. It’s ridiculous! I’d been seeing ads for it on Myspace for awhile now and I finally decided to check it out. And now I’m hooked. It’s pretty crazy. It’s funny how many debates people get into on there. Whether or not to vaccinate, breastfeeding vs. bottlefeeding, etc. And of course there are some bad apples on there like any site, but so far it has captivated my interest. Anyway I guess I should update.

Braeden is sick. I took him to the doctor on Friday and the doctor said he just had a head cold, but to call if some of his symptoms changed. Well his drainage changed to a green color which I know means he has a sinus infection. So I called the doctor and he called in a prescription for me. I’m going to give it to him as soon as he wakes up from his nap. That should be interesting. He hates his vitamins, although I would too. That thing stinks! It’s the Poly Vi Sol with Iron. Ick. Other than that everything is going good with him. He weighs 12 lbs 12 oz as of that dr’s visit on Friday. He has his 4 month check up on the 26th so we’ll see how tall he is then! He’s huge!

I am getting a different position at work. I’m actually taking a step down. From supervisor to the pricing team. This is a good thing. The hours are way better and I don’t have to deal with crazy customers in the same way I do as a supervisor. And that is definitely a bonus since the Holiday season is fast approaching. The pay is the same so I could care less if it’s technically a step down from where I am. It will allow me to be home more with Braeden. I’m so excited about it! The only problem is I don’t start with the pricing team until after my vacation at the beginning of October. And the store manager hasn’t announced it yet and he’s on vacation for 2 weeks! I’m dying to tell people at work but I’m not allowed to! The only people that know are the store manager, assistant store manager, and the pricing team leader. Ugh. It’s killing me because the Sales manager of the department I’m in doesn’t know and he’s making all these plans for the future and I just want to say I don’t care! I won’t be here in a month! heh Oh well. I just have to bide my time.

Anyhow… That’s all I have to update. Here are some pics of Braeden in his Halloween costume. I couldn’t resist anymore! I had to put him in it. Plus he is so long I’m afraid it won’t fit him when Halloween is actually here! (Don’t mind the trash can in the background… I really need to pay attention to what’s in the background when I’m taking pictures!)
