Get this baby out of me!
My mom just called to tell me my nephew is at the emergency room at Kosair’s Childrens hospital. Apparently he was riding his bike and swerved when a truck came and landed on his face. His nose is all swollen and they’re waiting on a surgeon to see him. The poor kid is only 6 years old!

Ok. I’m going crazy. I want this baby out of me already! I physically just can’t stand it anymore. It’s starting to take a toll emotionally as well. I’m just getting so frustrated. I feel like I’m carrying an extra 200 lbs just in my abdomen area. It’s difficult to walk or pretty much do anything. Yet I’m still supposed to work. As of Thursday I started having Braxton Hicks while walking around at work. I left an hour early. Friday I had my doctors appointment but I was still only dialated 1 cm and my cervix was still high up. He hasn’t dropped yet. *sighs* Saturday at work I left 4 hrs early because I just couldn’t stand it anymore. I was having Braxton Hicks contractions again. It takes so much out of you. I need suggestions to make myself go into labor! Walking around obviously gives me Braxton Hicks but that’s about it. It hasn’t started actual labor. Sex hasn’t done anything either. I am just so ready to see the little guy. I know I should just be patient and let nature take it’s course but it is really hard. It’s crazy thinking about where I’ll be when I go into labor too. Will I be at home? at work? Out somewhere? Everyone pray that he comes soon! That’s all for now. Later.
Have you tried having lots of sex? Prostaglandins in semen helps soften the cervix up, which can kickstart labor sometimes. Not fool proof, but it’s essentially a DIY membrane strip and hey- it’s a lot more fun! lol I hope things start moving for you soon!!! (carry a towel and clean pair of pants with you incase your water breaks while you’re out! My water broke at home, and I def. needed one!)

I hear castor oil helps but I would only recommend if you are indeed completely desperate. Yuck!

I hope your nephew is okay. It’s always a scary thought when any of that stuff happens. All the best.
