Pregnancy Update

So it’s been awhile since I actually wrote an entry. I figured I better sit down and force myself to write something! Everything seems to be going perfect with my pregnancy. I’m at 33 weeks and I had my last doctors visit on Friday. I did have high blood pressure that day but the doctor wasn’t that worried about it because that’s the first time it’s been high ever. I go back next Friday. There’s a lot going on this month! I have 2 baby showers, one on the 15th and one on the 22nd. The first is being given by my work and the other is the church I grew up attending. It’s been really hard lately to not buy anything for the baby since I’ve got two showers coming up and people will be buying things for me! My husband said absolutely no more clothes. The kid has a full closet and dresser already. We’re taking a Labor and Delivery class on the 21st. That should be interesting. I’m meeting with the pediatrician I chose on the 25th. It’s actually a group of 6 doctors and they all have sign language listed as a second language. That’s something I was really interested in. I definitely want to teach him to sign so he can communicate with me before he can actually verbalize words. I’ve already bought a book called Baby Signs and have been reading it in preparation. Should be pretty interesting. I wish I was fluent enough in another language to teach him that too! Oh well. My friend and I went yard sales the other day and I got a Jumperoo really cheap, a little gym, some shoes, and some toys that hang on the car seat. I had an offer today for a swing that someone is getting rid of. I’m not sure if I’m going to take it yet. Have to see how much I’m getting paid Friday first! I’m not sure we really have room for it, but it would still be nice to have.

Work wise they finally got a Sales Manager for my department and he officially starts tomorrow. Some pressure will finally be taken off my shoulders! I’ve basically been running the department for over a year. Craziness. I feel like I’ve gotten lazy at work too. Although there’s really not a lot I can be doing with the limitations because of me being pregnant. I can’t wait to have this baby so I can be off for several weeks! That will be so nice. I probably won’t want to go back but I won’t have a whole lot of choice. Hopefully my husband will finish school at the end of this year and will find a nice job. Then maybe I can become a stay at home mom and maybe just work a couple of nights a week just to get out of the house. That would definitely be nice, but we’ll see. Anyway. I guess that’s as good as an update as any. Later!
