My Family!

Hi all!!!

So I have been feeling the need to pay it forward lately. Things are so good in my life, I want to help others. I love doing volunteer work, and helping those less fortunate than me. Unfortunately, I don’t have the money to donate financially, but I do have the time. I can give of myself. I currently volunteer with two rescue organizations….but I haven’t done much with them as of late. I have decided to volunteer with a new organization. Its called CPR fund, and it was created by the paramedics and firefighters of NW Indiana. Its a canine rescue. I will help them with advertising, and adoption days, until I move into my new place, where I will offer to foster puppies and pregnant mommas. 🙂 This will keep me playing with animals, without actually getting another of my own. lmao Cuz we all know I don’t need more. You all know I only taken on rescue animals…the ones who were either abused, or neglected…ones nobody else wants. I have the BEST group of fuzzies anybody could ever want. Everyone inm y house gets along, from the birds right down to the cats and dogs, and rats. I’m very lucky. Life in my house is not chaos with all the animals. lol My dog is diapered, which means frequent baths, but not as many potty trips. lol
 
I am so tired today. Today, Manny came back from his vacation. Three weeks away, he is soooo lucky. I am so lucky too, which means I get to give him back his job!! Whee!!!!! I still have some of it at my desk, but thankfully the majority of it is back to him. YAYYAYYAY!!! LOL

Everyone is off or taking half days, lucky sons of bitches. I myself am working overtime. On the bright side, tonight I will be in the company of my friend sAmy and Jim, and their FIVE….yes…count em…FIVE Children. lol Its always fun going places with them. I remember camping last year….god…two trips with them, and we had soooo freaking much fun. The heat kinda got to everybody but me tho….how ironic, no sunburn, no heat stroke for me, but everyone else almost died. lmao Poor Hope, Jim’s VERY pasty blonde, almost albino looking daughter got the worst of it. Jim had it pretty bad too by the end. We were all taking care of each other, pitching in, and making it one of the best camping trips I have ever been on. All my trips have had their quirks though…truly…..I want to set one up for this year…but nobody is free on weekends anymore. Everyone I know either works retail or food service, which means weekend work. Either that, or they are unemployed, and have no money to do it. *sgh* I miss the good ole days. I used to camp EVERY weekend in the summer. And had a blast doing it. Sometimes we would even camp during the week, and i would just go to work from the campground. lol that was tons of fun for everyone!!! LOL
 
I’m kinda down today, which I don’t quite understand. I mean I am happy, just not enthusiastic. Thats unusual for me. I almost dread my friends coming over, and I don’t even know why. Maybe I am just in the mood to be alone. Not sure. I kinda want the baby again this weekend too…lol She is moving into her apartment this weekend, perhaps she will let me have him!! Hmm….something to think about.
 
I’m getting outta here….lunch tasted good, but I feel sick to my stomach. I have alot of necessities to buy this weekend….rat bedding, rat food, contacts, my meds….grrr.r..blah..
