Happy 4th of July!!!

My Family!

I find it funny, that we spend the entire day wishing people a happy 4th of july. Why does nobody use the name Independence Day anymore?? Cuz I mean, thats what we’re celebrating isn’t it? You don’t go around wishing people a Merry December 25th, do you? Or a Happy January 1st. So why 4th of July?? Not that I am complaining. I am enjoying myself immensely on this wonderful July 4th holiday. I woke up, scary early cuz its my day off, why not. lol I was hurting, so I decided to just take it easy, do what I needed to get done, but do it slowly. So I gave the dog a bath and brush, and I sat down to watch a little tv. While watching tv, Jaime called, and asked me to bring her her medicine. I said ok, since I had to go to Wal-Mart anyway to get stuff to make my utterly delicious grape salad. I also bought a new chair, cuz I needed one anyway.

Then I came and got titus, and away to mommy and daddy’s. I meant to do laundry, but somehow it just wasn’t high on my motivation list, and I found myself far too busy. I spent most of the day with Ricky and Angela. We went to the parade together, at 2pm. I had the most awesome prime spot ever, then Angela decided she wanted shade, so we ended up sitting under the trees in the McDonalds parking lot. We befriended this awesome McDonalds worker, who was outside sweeping and otherwise just not doing much of anything, and he hung out wiht us alot. He loved our dogs, and kept bringing out doggy treats for them. Titus made him his best friends, and kept begging for green treats, cuz for some reason, he didn’t want to even try the red ones!!!! LOL I also befriended some adorable little children, who at the end, said, "Hope to see you next year" Heck yes, young children. You WILL see me next year! And my little dog too!! Titus was so well loved, especially us in our matching outfits. lol This photographer took our picture, and asked for our names, and where we lived. I said Crown Point, even though I live in Merrillvile now…cuz my heart will always belong to Crown Point. I may reside in Merrillville, but home will always be CP.

After the parade, we went back to mom and dad’s and ate delicious BBQ food…oh my word, it was quite the spread. When we got there, our neighbor Shawn was over. She’s the resident lesbian in Crown town. lol She doesn’t know we know, but yeah we know. Her girlfriend Linda was supposed to come too, but apparently she is severely depressed, and couldn’t be around people. Hmmm….yeah…found out she is Bipolar too….and recently went off the deep end and had to be hospitalized after her dog snickers died last month….poor linda. I really like her, Shawn said she is just having a really tough time of it right now. Shawn invited me to her BBQ this summer…its gonna be a late summer shindig! 🙂 Can’t WAIT. Last summer was so much fun, met some true characters. Jim and Maragret Juby were also there. Jubies are serious characters. LOL Jim Juby kinda looks like a hippy reject. He has this weird beard thing going too…don’t know how to describe it, but its kinda like bald int he middle, and two stripes on either side…so weird. He works for Ingalls hospital, and Margaret works for St. James. Nicest people in the world, and my family has spent the 4th with them for as far back as I can remember.

After we at, I sat around talked for ahwile…then went inside, and hung with Ricky and Angela…watched some weird movie in fast forward. (they were watching snakes in a plane which I LOVE) but then put in The Onion Movie. We went to buy some fireworks, and hung outside lighting some of the ok to do in the daytime fireworks. Then Heather came over, we bs’d some more, then went to the fireworks. We parked right outside of the gate to the fairgrounds, walked in the gate, found the PERFECT spot, and had a front row seat to everything…could NOT have been more perfect. Could see all the floor shows and everythign RIGHT in front of us. They were breathtakingly beautiful, and they ended the finale with a beautiful golden shower.

And to top it all off, the family sitting in front of us were English, and I could not stop listening to them talk. The little girl had a gorgeous accent, but it was the guy who kept making my heart beat a little fast. Accents just do it for me. LOL I kept nudging heather, and saying…LISTEN…LISTEN!!! LOL He started telling a story about being int he bathroom or something, and I listened to every word with rapt attention…lol I just loved his accent. It was sooooooo sexy.

Got out of there, didn’t get stuck in much traffic or anything, then went home, lit off some more fireworks, then I rushed back to my house, and hung out with Jaime and Chris and lit off still more fireworks. It was such a fantastic July 4th. Couldn’t have been better. I even got to see my girl and Justine for a few minutes. Got to watch her eat a watermelon which was a rare treat. I got to watch the juices dripping down her chin, pooling between her breasts…oh my…it was a sexy experience. Had her daughter not been right there, I would have been tempted to just kiss her deeply, and lick up her juicy watermelon mouth….lol Is it odd that I found watermelon strangely erotic??? Hell anything that woman does with her mouth gets me keyed up. She has a very sexy mouth!!!!

Anyway, its late and I am tired. I am going to attempt to get some sleep. Instead, I may just end up read my book til I pass out into oblivion. SO GLAD I don’t work for TWO MORE DAYS~!! Wheeeee!!!!!

Peace out G-funks!!

Kristin

*HUG* Interesting that in Mexico that call the holiday by day rather than by title. Oh well, interesting language habits. *HUG* NR: The friendship affected me. Maybe it hasn’t affected her the same way. So it goes… Some day…

English accents rock. NR: I’m glad you enjoyed reading the entry. IT was fun to write. 🙂

NR: Baths are a great time for me. Usually it’s showers but I never write anything down there. I’ve just been writing a lot lately and the bath makes it difficult to be distracted. *HUG*
