Hee. Good Mood-ness

Drew and I have been doing well.  Lol, we had a stupid argument (initiated by him,) last week where he declared things over and all this, but get this: when he told his mom he didn’t want me coming by there anymore, she stood up for me!  She asked what’d happened and he told her we argued, and she said she didn’t think he should break up with me.  Somehow he brought up the age difference between us and she said, "So?  You know, your father and I were nine years apart."  And she said how I was pretty much the exact opposite of his ex.

Long story short, he was feeling insecure about something else and was taking it out on me.  We talked the next day (argument happened a week ago today and we talked on Wednesday,) and made up.

Over the weekend was nice, too.  A) there was sex, so that was   , and B) after that, we watched the rest of the original first Star Wars movie and I fell asleep on Drew.  It was nice to be able to do that.  I was leaning on his chest, he had his arm around me, and I conked out towards the end of the movie.

Yesterday, we were in the room he’s been staying in downstairs cuz of his ankle, and we got into a poke-fight.  He kept poking me, so I’d poke him back and I even got in a couple pinch-cheeks, too.  Lol, when he was a kid, he was always getting his cheeks pinched by this one teacher, so he HATES that now.  But I’ve gotten away with it.

His kids also came by yesterday for awhile.  There’s a bag of different toys that Alanna pulled out, so her, Joy, and I were on the floor at the bottom of the stairs playing with the different things with Drew and his mom sat on the couch and love seat in the room.  Joy even sat on my lap when Alanna pulled out a book and asked if we could read it.  I was gonna read aloud to them, but then Alanna started figuring out what some of the words were and I helped her with others.  And I was happy lateer, cuz when his ex came to get them, Joy gave me a hug before she left.    (And Joy is the younger, shier, of the two.)

In addition to this good news, that Holmes publisher I submitted to?  They want to publish my Holmes novels!  It’s a smaller publisher where the author’s mainly do their own marketing, but still, it’s a legit publisher and they want to publish my Holmes novels!!!!  I’m sending in the fully edited novel either tonight or tomorrow, and anyone interested in getting a copy, I’ll include a link on here once it’s available.

Well, off to work.

ryn1: Exactly! ryn2: Besides the fact that I’ve already been doing this and want to keep my project my own, as well as being able to say “no” because I’m grown and can do that… I just don’t see the practicality of making such a BIG compost bin for just our two homes. If we had more family or neighbors involved, that’d be a different story, but as it stands? No. It’s too much.

ryn: I don’t know if it’s so much just for that purpose, but I think as so many of the siblings were ditching Joy’s for hers, she felt the need to ask. I just think it’s all childish and mean of them. ryn2: Good point. But how the hell can they feel anonymous when everything last little thing you do is posted up on a Wall- literally- for EVERYONE and their mama to see? I don’t get it.

ryn: Were it a young person, I would not even be shocked, but these are grown folks with kids! Arguing with *family*, for Heaven’s sake! But what you say is true- I forget that there are some people that are just that trashy.

RYN: Thank you. I know some people don’t like what I write about here, but it is what it is.
