Memoirs Of A Teenage Amnesiac

This is a book I just read.  A girl falls down the stairs outside her school and ends up losing all her memories of the last four years of her life.  She’s forgotten her best friend, her boyfriend, why she loves being on the yearbook staff, and even that her parents got divorced after her mom was unfaithful.

But as she goes through the school year, she finds that she doesn’t care about the same things she did when she had her memory.  She neglects the yearbook, is failing what she thought would be her easiest class, breaks up with her boyfriend, and even begins ignoring her best friend!

When a guy comes into her life with his own set of problems, can they help each other out?

It’s a good read and I think it tells a really good story about life, love, friendship, and the little, inexplicable changes that happen in our lives that sometimes we don’t see until the change has taken place.

ryn “Snape, Snape, Severus Snape…” My dad and I randomly sing that whole song to each other. ~

It seems to put a lot about life into perspective, like how we cling to this fictional narrative that contains mostly meaningless elements.

RYN: Well, technically, our store policy is not to approach anyone who has a weapon because someone could get hurt. Well, it I didn’t see a weapon, how am I to know?

RYN: That’s why I say you should avoid retail jobs.

Oh before I forget…since you ever so nicely agreed to do a reading for us at our wedding, you need to be at the wedding rehearsal on the 14th. You’d have to be at the church by 6:00pm and there is a dinner afterwards 🙂 Make sure you are there please! 🙂 And did you get your invitation!? Isn’t it cute 🙂

Yeah…sorry..i thought it was known by everyone that rehearsals were the night before a wedding *lol*

I talked to the prosecutor and he said because it was when he was underaged and even if he wasn’t the statue of limitations are up and it would look bad since she never came forward. I think the prosecutor just doesnt want to do their job and if its too hard they just go for plea deal or let them go altogether.

I can kinda relate to this book, although for very different reasons.
