Neat syrvey. What do u do? Just make a list of your friends and then go back and answer the questions? I might try this. RYN – Whoa. LOL. No, no, no… you don’t have to eat 10,000 calories for it to be a food binge. A food binge is anytime you eat to the point of extremely uncomfortable fullness..to where your skin feels stretched and it hurts to breathe and you feel like you’ll puke. It hurts.

I’ve done the 10,000 calorie thing before too though. 🙁 Consumed a whole large pizza and like 10 sandwiches and a gallon of ice cream one time. That was awful. Sadly, I have lived with binge eating disorder since 1997 so I know all too well what it is like. I have researched it high and low to try to find a cure. Keep me in your prayers. I want to overcome this someday!!! 🙂 Thanks.

RYN – Oh there is a BIG difference between just over-eating and binging. I have done both, but it was the Binge Eating Disorder that almost killed me in 1997. It really doesn’t matter how many calories it is, although you heard right – usually it is a very high amount because binge eaters tend to eat things high in sugar and fat.

Usually sweets. Sometimes I would eat entire cakes, 5 or 6 bags of cookies, 6 or 7 boxes of Little Debbies, and 2 gallons of ice-cream. It is a sad disorder and VERY hard to deal with. It tears your stomach up and it really screws your blood sugar levels up. I hope it is something you NEVER have to deal with. That was one of the hardest times of my life.
