Oh, Yeah. Another Living Arrangement?

Um, I’m gonna say "heck no."

See, I guess Colleen had told Mike that she and her mom are possibly going to be renting this house from a woman in Keansburg.  It’s a four bedroom, with one bedroom on the first floor.  That’s the one Colleen’s mom would want and Mike, me, and Colleen could be upstairs.  However, I pointed out three major complaints with this scenario.

One: Colleen’s mom smokes.  If either Mike or I were going to live within the same house as her, she would either A) have to quit, or B) always smoke outside and be willing to stay out there until her clothes and hair were aired out.  Because Mike and I simply cannot be around smokers.  It makes me blind and if Mike gets too near it, it can make him dead.  Literally.  I’ve seen him have breathing problems just by accidentally being downwind of a smoker and getting a small cloud in his face.  I saw him with pneumonia once.  I don’t need to see a repeat of it because of a smoker.

Anyway, before I get off-subject, number two: I admit, this one is more me, but still.  See, I want to move out to get away from parents.  And I can’t get away from parents if I’m moving into a rental house with someone else’s!

Three: No offense to those I know who do live in Keansburg, but I honestly, would not want to live there.  (Okay, I probably shouldn’;t be worried about offending.  Most peple from Keansburg don’t want to live there.)  Honestly, though, I don’t like the area.  I hate driving on the roads, I hate the drivers there, and I just wouldn’t feel safe leaving my car parked by the street, especially not with all the stuff I have a habit of leaving in it.

Four: I really, really like Long Brook and if there’s anyway that Mike and I can make that work, (and we’re gonna try,) then we’re gonna do it.

I guess Mike did mention the smoking thing to Colleen yesterday and that it wouldn’t be a problem making the condition for her to only smoke outside, but I still wouldn;t feel comfortable with it.  I mean, here’s another thing.  I feel that there are irritants in this house that effct my eyes.  I’m trying to get away from that.  So I’m gonna move in with somoene who I know smokes?  No!  I mean, that would kinda defeat the purpose of moving to get away from air contaminants in the first place.

I do find it stupider that she smokes than I do with most people.  Why?  Simple.  She’s a nurse!  She at least should be more aware of the effects of smoking.  Yeah, this doesn’t help my hope that people are intelligent.

Okay, I’m gonna go.  Bye.

You had hope that people are intelligent? Silly girl. I know of someone who wonÂ’t wear deodorant because she heard it causes cancer, yet she smokes. People like that make my brain hurt. Anyway, Congratulations on being a finalist! Yay! And, I got my own copy of Alex and Emma, so we should watch it. Call me! :0)
