Out Drinkin’
Your Wildest Dreams
Once upon a time
Once when you were mine
I remember skies
reflected in your eyes
I wonder where you are
I wonder if you think about me
Once upon a time in your wildest dreams
Once the world was new
Our bodies felt the morning dew that reached a brand new day
We couldn’t tear ourselves away
I wonder if you care
I wonder if you still remember
Once upon a time in your wildest dreams
When the music plays
When the words are touched with sorrow
When the music plays
I hear the sound I have to follow
Once upon a time…
Once beneath the stars
The universe was ours
Love was all we knew
And all I knew was you
I wonder if you know
I wonder if you think about it
Once upon a time in your wildest dreams
When the music plays
When the words are touched with sorrow
When the music plays
When the music plays
I hear the sound I have to follow
Once upon a time…
Once upon a time
Once when you were mine
I remember skies
mirrored in your eyes
I wonder where you are
I wonder if you think about me
Once upon a time in your wildest dreams
In your wildest dreams
In your wildest dreams
In your wildest dreams
My Mood: — Happy And Tipsy
Lol. Okay, so I came back from Domino’s earlier than I expected. It was actually around twenty to nine. I came back to the house, settled down, and went online. Melanie had sent me an E-mail with directions to the place in Paramus, so I decided to look up horseback riding stables. I’d actually found some good ones, (and I *think* we can find them,) when I saw that she didn’t have her away message up. I IMed her and we were talking for a bit. Then I asked if she wanted to meet at Barnes and Noble since I had about twent bucks burning a hole in my pocket and wanted to find a book. She said she’d like to, but her dad would spaz about her driving in the rain. So I offered to pick her up and was out the door a few minutes later.
I picked her up, but by the time we would have gotten to Barnes and Noble, we’d have had to leave about ten minutes later. We just decided to go back to the Court Jester again. I actually didn;t miss the turn for her to go to the bank, (though I forgot that she needed to do that until she reminded me just before I passed it,) she got some money, and I actually ordered something besides the nachos at Court Jester. Lol. So we were talking about movies and our families and laughing and complaining about baseball and somehow the conversation got around to bowling. We both decided that we wanted to go bowling. Well, Mike had told me that Shannon was having a movie night last night, so I mentioned that to Melanie and said we could go harrass her when we got out of the restaurant. So we ate dessert, (that doubkle devil brownie thing I got was SO good,) paid, and drove over to Shannon’s.
I called and said that Shannon should come outside. She did and she and Melanie had this, like, five minute long hug. Then we went inside and it turned out that not only had Dan come, but so did Denny, Bryan, and Colleen. But Bryan and Colleen ended up not coming. We found out that Brunswick was open until two AM and headed out soon after. And just like when I initially left to pick Melanie up, I couldn’t find my keys. But luckily I did have my spare with me. Turns out I left the damn things in the ignition again. Lol. Yeah, I’m doing real good . . .
I drove Melanie and Shannon and Denny drove with Dan. So we get there and get a lane and all that. And Melanie and I had actually been joking about Dan coming out of the closet when we were at Court Jester and don’t you know, the first ball I see him pick up is a pink one? Lol. Actually, I ended up using that ball. And Shannon’s a couple of times, cuz it weighs like, two pounds.
So we bowled and Shannon, Melanie, and I got these smirnoff wine cooler thingies. Mine was a watermelon. And it was good . . . Dear God, save me, I’ve found an appealing alcohol. (That was the one thing I never wanted to do because I know how I am with drinks I like. But oh, well.) I found out that the bowling alley has a DDR mchine!!!! And it’s only fifty cents!!! Especially for a DDR game, that is a great price! So once I saw thatpeople weren’t on it, I had to go over and play a game. So I did. And I found the Saints Go Marching In! I DDRed to that song twice and another one for the third. Then I went back just in time for my turn.
Oh, and Melanie found out that she’d brought her digital camera, so we were taking pictures of one another in group shots or solo or whatever at random points. Lol. At Court Jester, when we initially started talking about the whole bowling thing, Melanie was telling me about Dan doing this leg thing when he bowls that was so funny. She said he looked like a flamingo! And when she saw she had the camera with her, she got a picture of him like that! Then we got a whole group shot with Shannon on my back, and another one where I was up on a chair behind Denny, and Shannon was behind me, Dan was on Denny’s other side, and I think Melanie was on the other side of him. Either that or she was taking the picture, I’m not sure.
Oh! Then at one point, Denny was over getting a beer and it was his turn, so we’re all calling to him. He comes over, minus the beer, takes a ball, throws it at the pins, getsd a strike, and says, “Don’t interrupt me when I’m getting beer!” or something like that. It was funny.
Then at the end of the night, the place is closing around us, and we’re all kind of milling about, waiting for everyone to get their stuff together. That’s when Melanie says to me and Dan that, “Hey, you’re getting along now, I gotta get a picture of this.” So she holds the camera up and we stand next to one another, waiting for her to take it. Then she says something like, “Come on, act like you like ne another!” So he throws his arm around my shoulders, I throw my arm around his back to rest on his shoulder, and she takes that picture. Lol. Then she’s going around to Denny and Shannon, and I think a friend of Denny’s who may have still been there, saying that she bet they never thought they’d see that picture.
Lol. After that, we went back to Denny’s and talked for awhile. Melanie wanted to say hi to Denny’s mom, but she was already asleep. So we basically stood around talking fr awhile. I don’t know how late they stayed there, but I cut out around two thirty since there was stil
l the possibility that I’d have to work at noon today. So I gave people hugs and just before I left, Melanie says to me, “Hey, Court Jester again soon?” I nodded, gave a thumbs up, and left.
When I got back to the house, I figured Mike would still be awake and worried about me since I was back about three hours after I anticipated. I was wrong, he actually was asleep, but I was wired and I woke him up. I told him about the night and he’s sitting there, “Poor little inebriated Hedgehog . . .” Lol. I settled down into bed and was saying hi to the bubble on my ceiling, (don’t ask,) and telling him about the rest of the night. Then he went back to his room and I fell asleep.
I woke up this morning about forty five minutes before I wanted to, thanks to my mom insisting that she needed my keys to get something out of my car. So, I’ve pretty much been up since around ten thirty. Luckily, the park’s not open today, which is how I’m sitting here typing this at the moment. I’m glad they aren’t open today, but I almost hope they’re open tomorrow. I don’t want to just get nothing this week from them. But if I don’t work tomorrow, it’ll give me more time to clean my room and stuff. Cuz it’s not that bad, but it’s something I really need to do. My room’s starting to smell like the Canary Bird Farm. For a bird place, that’s fine. For a person’s room, that’s not so fine.
Plus, I’m also working on trying to find horseback riding places closer than an hour plus away. I may have had some success, but I’m not sure. I’m going to call a few places today and find out. But if I have, and the prices are good . . . Yay for possibilities!
Lol. I think I’m still feeling the effects of that al-kee-hol. I was right. I’m one of those everything-is-hilarious-and-I’m-just-gonna-go-with-the-flow drinkers. And I know this after one bottle.
I had a great time last night. For the first time in . . . I don’t even know how long, I felt like part of a group. I felt like I was wanted there. I didn’t feel excluded. And I loved it. I loved getting out and doing something with people. I loved laughing with them, or in some cases at them, (DAN! Lol.) I don’t know, I guess I just never believed that this would happen again. I guess I thought that, yeah, I’d hang out with these people on occasion, but never in such a group thing and never where we’d make plans for something else that I actually thought would definitely happen.
Okay, I’m still trying to find horseback riding places so that me and Melanie can go at some point, so I’m gonna leave off here.
Bye!
P.S. — These are the lyrics to that great song that I have to play for, like, everyone I know. It is such a good song!
My Mom suggested that we make plans to go to a Dude Ranch for a weekend. *lol*

There is a link for the pictures in the entry, at the end so you can see them. I will have to fix it to put the pictures in the entry. for some reason they are not working. I actually did include a picture of the booze, but unfortunately you could not see it. Yes, a dude ranch. I actually went to one with Girl Scouts. Horseback riding, campfires, and other fun stuff. It would be funny
