Okay, Let’s Try It. One Hundred Things About Me!

1. I love Smilies.  smiley

2. I’m definitely weird.  smiley

3. Speaking of weird, for flashback Friday in my high school, I would go all out in sixties clothes.  Bell bottoms, platforms, hippie top, headband, even a peace sign drawn on my face.  smiley

4. Two different times in high school, I’ve been told by friends of mine, "I don’t know you," simply because of my outfit.

5. Before I got my hippie headband, I wore my Beatle tie around my head as one.

6. Halloween is my favorite holiday, smiley (yeah, like you didn’t see that one coming!) aside from Christmas.

7. My first car was spray painted blue and had a giant Smiley on the hood.  smiley

8. There are definitely times when I think I’m psychic, but I’m not gonna go around saying it to people, because if I did, I wouldn’t be able to predict anything right.  That’s just how my luck is.

9. I’ve found it’s not that hard to read some people.

10. There are some who I can categorize like that, ::snaps:: and others who I still don’t know what to make of.  (In terms of personality.)

11. I’ve thought I was in love five times, with five different people.  Two of those people, I could still fall for to this day.  smiley

12. I don’t have a best friend right now.

13. Oddly enough, I’m okay with that.

14. I have close friends, but I don’t feel anyone actually knows me well enough for me to say, "Yes, you’re my best friend."

15. I wonder if anyone will ever truly know me sometimes.

16. I am a writer.  Down to my very core, I’m a writer.

17. Until I was fourteen I wanted to be an actress.

18. I’d still like to be in a movie.

19. I’m dying to get my novels published, but I’m afraid of submitting the series before it’s done because I don’t want to be pressured by deadlines.

20.  I have had four people throughout my life who considered themselves non-biological members of my family.

21. Sometimes I still wish I had a large group of friends with lots of places to go on the weekends and lots of people to see and hang out with.

22. Usually I’m happy just being a homebody.

23. There are times at work where I just want to sit and write.

24. I’m back in my writing groove right now and I hope that itch stays in my fingers.

25. I hate when my well of inspiration runs dry and I can’t seem to write a coherent sentence for my life.

26. Writing is my life.  So if I can’t write a good sentence, I’m screwed.

27. When I was a kid, Darth Vader was my imginary friend.

28. I love Chinese food, especially shrimp fried rice, and those Kean egg rolls.  smiley

29. If I ever got a disease or a brain damage thing that affected my memory, I’d probably want to die ninety percent of the time.

30. Suicide more scares me than angers me because I can’t believe anyone would become that desperate/pained that they would forget everyone else.

31. I don’t understand how a person gets to that point with no one doing anything about it.

32. I don’t understand why people won’t report abuse if they know it’s happening.

33. I’m now curious what love is blonde would guess is my lifetime number.  (But read a good deal of the diary first, even though there are a buttload of entries.)

34. I want to know how to guess/know what lifetime a person is on.

35. I don’t find it amazing when I guess/see something about a person’s personality that by all standards, they’ve hidden from everyone.

36. I think that all public ‘psychics’ can be seen through by logical thought.  smiley

37. People who believe in creationism over evolution are denying scientific fact.

38. I believe creation and evolution go hand in hand.

39. While I don’t think that everyone should believe in God the way Christianity portrays Him, I think everyone should have something they believe in and that atheists and even some agnostics are missing out on something.  (Even when I was agnostic, I felt that way.)

40. I don’t mind the jokes that do it, but I hate when people seriously refer to God as a She.  God is this omnipotent being, seing all, knowing all.  Surely you don’t honestly think that He’s bound to one of two earthly genders?

41. I hate how people will use, "Well, if they’re happy…" as a reason to not explore something, or as a reason for someone to be able to do something.

42. Garfield’s Halloween episode is my favorite episode of that show.  smiley

43. I can point out mistakes in movies and those instantaneous mistakes, (like where someone’s arm is up in one scene then there’s a quick cut to a different angle, and the person’s arm is down,) really bother me.

44. I’ve taken to watching reruns of shows in thepast few years, (Third Rock, Seinfeld, Just Shoot Me,) and now wish that I’d seen them when they were initially on.

45. One of the submaking guys who used to work at QuikChek reminded me of Jerry Seinfeld.

46. When I was younger, I wanted to live in a house with a huge amount of animals.

47. Though I wouldn;t want to take care of it by myself, I still think it’d be great to own a horse.

48. I’d love to become a better rider, but I don’t know any places to go around here.

49. I actually like looking somewhat Gothic.  smiley

50. That’s why I bought that blue lipstick.

51. I’ve started collecting smiley glasses, mugs, plates, and bowls for when I move out.

52. I have a smiley soup bowl/mug thing that shows exactly what my expression is when I don’t think of a word at Encore that I should have.

53. I freakin’ hate that game sometimes.

54. But it’s addicting and I can’t stop playing it.

55. I know for a fact that if I’d read the LOTR books first, I would absolutely hate the movies.  smiley

56. The more I like the book, (or in Phantom’s case, the play,) the more offended I am when they screw it up on the big screen.

57. I didn’t go see Chamber Of Secrets in the theater because I idn;t want to waste my money if it was as bad as the first one.

58. I’m afraid of how badly the theater is going to maul the fourth movie, considering it’s the longest of the the four.

59. I used to think it was such a cool thing to have my own phone in my room.  Now, I barely ever answer it.

60. I prefer IM’s and in-person to talking on the phone.

61. I didn’t use to.  I used to spend four, five, six hours on the phone when I was in high school.

62. I miss when Dolly would come up for the summer.  Now, I’ve realized exactly how few people I did hang out with over the summers.

63. I think later in lif

e, my right wrist is really gonna suffer for the way I type.

64. I can’t seem to change it, though I’ve tried.

65. Oddly enough, the same fate doesn’t fall on my left wrist.

66. I’ve had crushes on at least thirty guys.

67. I’ve only had one real boyfriend.

68. I’ve had three relationships that went beyond friendship.

69. Any relationship I’ve had with a guy that went beyond friendship has been dysfunctional.

70. I could probably be a psychologist, and a damned good one at that, but I don’t have the discipline to go through the classes.

71. I want to be moved out of my house and own a Caique, a macaw, a cockatoo, and both my cockatiels and hedgehog by the time I’m thirty.  I’ve got two cockatiels and a hedgehog.  Three more, and a move out, to go.

72. I resisted seeing Shrek for so log because the beginning reminded me too much of Monty Python, but now that I’ve actually seen it, it and the second one are two of my favorite movies.

73. I think Shrek (as a man,) was better looking than Prince Charming.

74. I love coming up with fiendish plots for my friends’ birthdays.

75. Jason addicted me to DDR.

76. I’ve considered going back on my promise not to see him, but not in a way that he would like.

77. I think he expects me to break that promise.

78. I have no intention of breaking it.

79. Considering his lack of communication through notes even when we were talkng, I don’t know why I expected one while we aren’t, but… It still hurts that he didn’t leave any kind of condolence message about Ivy.

80. I hate, and will always hate, that Ivy died alone.

81. When I was a kid, I called this one tree in our front yard my "favorite climbing tree."  Ivy’s buried under it.  It just seemed right.

82. The only relative I’ve ever been aware of losing, (I lost a great grandfather when I was two months old,) is my grandpa on my mom’s side.  I broke down as soon as I heard the news.

83. I still sometimes wonder what Ryan was depressed about the day of the coffeehouse my sophomore year.

84. I told him that day that it would still bother me years later.

85. I don’t think anyone will ever know exactly how much of myself I’m pouring into my novels.

86. I made a promise to myself that when I am a famous writer and getting fanmail and all that stuff, I will answer every letter.  I’m not going to make a form letter, I hate them.  I will take the time, and even if I don’t answer for months, I will answer.

87. I’ve gotten two form letters from R.L. Stine.

88. I actually met R.L. Stine on Halloween a few years ago.  He was doing a book signing at the Menlo Park Mall.

89. I’ve wanted a macaw since seeing the original Dr. DoLittle.

90. I want to watch that movie again, but not enough to go dig it out.

91. I have the worst sense of direction imaginable.

92. I once told Ryan that without landmarks in the directions to his college in Penn., I’d probably wind up in Florida.

93. I love wearing peace sign stuff.

94. I think it’s ridiculous that some people think that peace signs are upside down broken crosses.

95. When I was younger, I used to stand outside under a stretlight, and dream of when I would be famous and standing under that kind of spotlight.

96. I used to love standing outside in the cul-de-sac singing.

97. Three of our neighbors have had their spouses die.  One wife, two husbands.

98. I still can’t believe Fred is gone.

99. I try not to think about dying and the afterlife.  Oblivion doesn’t scare me.  Ceasing to exist and whatnot.  What scares me is that all the preaching and Bible teachings and whatnot are correct in some form or another and that God is angry at me.

100. This is the first time I’ve completed a list of 100 things about me.

101. An extra one, just for you people.  I can’t believe in all of this, I didn’t mention the 13 conspiracy once!

102. Okay, two extras.  I didn’t mention the Jigglypuff story either.

Wow. I don’t think there ARE a hundred things about myself I could write about. I’m gonna have to sit down with something like this when I have more free time and really think about it.

40. I don’t mind the jokes that do it, but I hate when people seriously refer to God as a She. God is this omnipotent being, seing all, knowing all. Surely you don’t honestly think that He’s bound to one of two earthly genders? Um…you do realize you just referred to God as a HE, right? Binding It to one of 2 earthly genders? lol

i kinda borrowed it from a diary layout diary and then modified it..into what you see here..I could make you some if you would like?I think I will make a case closed one next in fact.

27–That’s like the koolest imaginary friend ever! 40–Isn’t calling God “He” just as bad? By that logic, wouldn’t “It” be more appropriate? 86–You’ll be like Ringo Star on that episode of the Simpsons where he answers Marge’s letter like thirty years after she sent it. I’m gonna have to try this… :0)

ryn:I really dont know how I do it, get them to work, maybe Ive got patience to sit down and try out everything. This particular one took me nine hours..considering most of it was spent looking over about 400 some odd pictures of various anime characters, then modifying the picture side to fit with the other side. I could make you one if you would like.I wouldnt min at all!

Regarding some people commenting on how she refered to God as He. He can also take a neuter case when a gender is polite to be named, but a specific gender is not known. Thus, calling an unknown assailant a he is not implying that this person is male, simply that a gender is present, or polite. Kind of sucks for us guys, eh? Our gender terminology is both male, and neuter.
