My Day At The Gym
Lol. I can move. I could move last night, I just didn’t feel like signing back on again. Anyway, I had been looking over the sheets of what classes and stuff were offered, and had decided, “Okay, let me take this half hour thing, and then go to a class called ‘Butts and Gutts.'” Well, it turned out that the half hour one, (it’s basically resistance work and then biking,) didn’t start when I thought it did, it started half an hour later. So I had to chose one or the other. And stupid me, I chose the class. But I’ll get to that in a second.
So it turned out I basically had about an hour and a half to kill instead of just half an hour. So I went on the treadmill, a bike, the resistance machine that’s supposed to help strengthen your lower back, I checked ou the half hour workout machines and went through them, did the inner and outer thigh ones, and crunches.
Well, when it was time for the class I walked in, along with other people, and we got balance bars, weights, and these stretchy cords. And my God my muscles were screaming. Not at the end, it was while I was doing those exercises, stretches, whatever. Ow . . .
My arms around my shoulders are a bit sore right now, but my legs are absolutely fine. Despite them being more worked out than my arms. But then, my arms aren’t used to it.
Anyway, I figure what I’ll do is skip the classes for a bit, unless that half hour one is offered. I’ll just come in, go to the inner/outer thigh machines, go through the half hour machines at my own pace, go to the treadmill, then to the bike. And it should take me about an hour.
That’s also what I figured about the price. It’s sixty a month. Now, if I was only DDRing, and did a workout with that, it’d be about five or six games. That’s five or six bucks, and if I did that three times a week, that’s fifteen or eighteen bucks, which totals sixty or seventy-two bucks a month. The gym’s a better deal because I get so much more equipment and stuff I can use, classes I can attend, people I can talk to, etc. Though I’m still gonna DDR, no doubt. Lol.
Anyway, I’m going back there tomorrow. I’ll go through the regime I described above, then come home.
